December Studio AE from Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Hi everyone!

It’s a lovely day for a blog hop, don’t you think? 😉

I’m stoked to be joining the Technique Tuesday crew for December’s Studio AE Blog Hop, which runs through Thursday.

We are all featuring projects today that are made with December’s My Life by Ali Edwards stamp set.

It starts shipping today to Studio AE members. Not a member? You can get it through Technique Tuesday and  some retailers for a limited time.

I decided to make a layout with the stamp set. So meet today’s project for the hop!

I was really inspired by the stamp set to just do a little random journaling for my scrapbooks. Some times, I get caught up the events and happenings I document in my books. The words in the set got me thinking about making some pages that really just document my life right now, like this one.

The journaling really is just a list of things I love. The pictures are some extras I had leftover from other projects, but they are related to the journaling so I decided to use them.

I used the stamp set on the title and journaling block.

Also used it to stamp the little arrow in the title on patterned paper and then fussy cut it out.

I had some paper scraps leftover and a couple Story Cards (and the stamp set) on my desk so I decided to make a random journaling card to add to my Project Life scrapbook as well.

There are a lots of folks who make Project Life books that are works of art and put a lot of thought to what goes into them. Mine is not one of them. 😉 It’s really hodgepodge and thrown together. This is just a nice little card that uses set and will fit nicely in one of the pockets. It’s a nice way to just capture the moment of life right now.

Be sure to check out everyone taking part in today’s hop:

Be sure to comment as you go because Technique Tuesday is giving away a prize.  They will give away a $25 gift certificate to TechniqueTuesday.com to someone who comments during the blog hop. The winner will be announced on sometime on 12/13 on the Technique Tuesday blog.

Thanks for swinging by today!

  1. I like your idea of just documenting a list of what you like in your life right now as a layout. I’ve never thought of that! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Glad you had a chance to document some everyday stuff! That’s one of the things I love about Ali. Everything is worth documenting, even a shopping list because some day in the future someone is going to wonder what Cracklin’ Oat Bran is and why you’d want to buy some at the grocery store! TFS!
