Gadget socks are little socks to tuck in things like cellphones, mp3 players and the like into. They protect the gadgets, but they also have a little personality and help you find them when they fall to bottom of your purse or backpack.
I present to you the two I came up with. 🙂
They were incredibly easy to make.
The pink one was easier than the monkey, but the idea is pretty much the same.
Start by by cutting two pieces of felt to fit around your gadget. Stitch three sides and embellish.
For the pink one, I just added a button and cut a hole for it. The letters are felt sticker Thickers from American Crafts.
For the monkey, I created the ears before I stitched the two pieces of felt together. I created the face elements and bow afterwards and stitched them onto the base. I think if I made this again, I’d place those elements on the monkey before I stitched the base pieces together.
