DIY Wednesday (10-1)

It’s DIY Wednesday.

And, today, we are going to make fancy, schmanzy brads with flocking.

To pull off this DIY project, you are going to  need: a few brads; Zots or Glue Dots; an assortment of flocks; and scratch paper (to protect your work surface).

First, roll out your adhesive dots. Here, I’m using Zots.

Set your brad on one of the dots and work the dot onto your brad’s head.

Set the brad in your flock. Be sure to twist the brad around a bit so your brad gets well covered with lots and lots flock.

Pull the brad out of the flock and tap it a few times on your container to shake away any excess flock.

That’s it. You are good to go.

This same trick works for glitter, too.

Here’s a card made with one of my flocked brads.

That’s it for now. Thanks for stopping by!
