Today’s card (2-10)

Meet today’s card.

With Valentine’s coming up, I figured I better whip out a couple cards for a few peeps in my life.

The heart is from a freebie download from the Black Apple. If you click on those words, it’ll take you to her post that leads you to the download.

I don’t know the Black Apple, but I sure enjoy reading her blog and seeing her lovely paintings, dolls and other creations. I was totally stoked to see some in a download form. Thank you, Black Apple!

The little borders are my own handiwork. The card base is just good old kraft cardstock.

That’s it for today.

Thanks for taking time out of your day to stop by.  I’ll be back tomorrow.

Today’s card (2-7)

Meet today’s card.

I love those flowers. I love those words, too.

They both are from Technique Tuesday. As most of you guys know, I’m a long-time, nerd-worthy fan of their’s.

The “thank you” is from Ali Edwards’ new Loving Words set. The flowers are from TT’s new Growing Wild set.  Both were on the display during the recent CHA show.

The blue paper is from Cosmo Cricket. The polka dot paper was stamped with another image from Technique Tuesday.

Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be back tomorrow.

Frugal Friday (2-6)

It’s Friday, which means it’s Fruuuuuuuu-gal Fri-day.

(Yep. My Swedish Chef voice is back.)

Today’s tip is really just a tip.

I was recycling bottles and cans and noticed these cool designs on a couple Pepsi bottles.

I thought they were pretty cool so I cut ’em up to use them like patterned paper. I made this card with one of them.

I kind of like the look. Different from the same old, same old.

Have you taken a look at the labels from the bottles and cans in your pantry lately? I am betting there are some that would equally cool on a card or two.

Anyway, that’s all I have for today. Be back over the weekend!

Thanks for stopping by.

Today’s card (2-5)

Happy Thursday.

It’s a good day to share card.

Meet mine for the day.

I actually whipped this  up the other day.

The strainer is was colored in with a gray pencil. It’s  from the Kitchen Culture rubber stamp set from Art Declassified. It’s a nifty little set of old school kitchen gadgets.

The papers are from SEI and Black Market Paper Society.

The cheesy saying is all mine.  Seriously, I couldn’t re-strain myself from it. 😉

Be back tomorrow. Plans for a Frugal Friday post are underway!

Today’s card (2-4)

Give me a…  meet!

Give me a… today’s!

Give me a… card!

Give me a…  meet today’s card.

And, with that, here it is.

A whole lot of stuff on this one.

The papers are from Carolee’s Creations and Making Memories. The butterflies were a dollar store find. The letter stickers are from the fine folks at American Crafts. The gems are from the equally fine folks of Kaiser Craft. The clip is from my old stash of nearly forgotten ‘wares.

That’s all I’ve got for you today.

I’ll be back tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!

Today’s card (2-3)

Another day.

Another pattern-tastic card.

Shocking,  I know. 😉

The paper, flower and words are from My Mind’s Eye. The colors make me really happy right now.

The gems are from Kaiser Craft.

That’s it for now. Be back later.

Today’s card (2-2)

At last. Something new here in T-ville. 🙂

Meet today’s card.

All the papers are from My Mind’s Eye and have some form of glitter on them.

The diecut is also from My Mind’s Eye and their Laundry Line collection.

The letters were cut with the Rockstar alphabet from Quickutz. The gems are from Kaiser Craft.

Thanks for taking a peek.

Be back tomorrow.
