Today’s card (7-10)

A good Friday to you!

Meet today’s card.

HiRetroCirclesCard_teri

I mixed and matched a few things left lying on my desk from other projects for this card.

The patterned papers are from Cosmo Cricket (their Girl Friday collection ) and Making Memories (that’s the green stuff). The eyelets and letter stickers (from SEI) are things I’ve been keeping in my stash for … sadly… years now.

Oh, and those snips on the sides? Well, let’s just say I thought I’d try something different. 😉

That is I have for now. I’ll be back over the weekend.

Thanks for stopping by!

Today’s card (7-8)

Hello friends!

Meet today’s card.

ThanksCirclesTag_teri

I was trying to go for something a little different here with this one.

To give the edges of the circles and the ledger paper background  a more-shabby feel, I used a white opaque paint marker from Elmer’s.

The patterned papers I used are from Basic Grey (their Lemonade collection) and Melissa Frances. The sentiment is a rub-on from Melissa Frances. And the pin is from Making Memories’  Vintage Findings collection.

That’s it for now. I’ll be back tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by!

Today’s card (7-7)

Hi!

Meet today’s card.

ForeverFriendsToasterBread_teri

They just made me giggle so I had to put them on here.

The papers are all from Cosmo Cricket’s Early Bird collection. The words are a rub-on from Melissa Frances. The eyelets from the old stash-a-roo.

Thanks for stopping by. I’ll be back tomorrow.

I invite you to sit back and take a peek at today’s card.

Go ahead. Peek.

HappyHeartfeltHugsCard_teri

The patterned papers, ticket and words are all from Making Memories’ Vintage Findings line. The pin is from Heidi Grace. The lace around the ticket is from my Great Aunt’s sewing basket.

Oh, and the aging to the paper and the tag?  That was pulled off with a cosmetic sponge and an Old Paper Distress Ink pad from Ranger.

I’ll be back tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by.

Today’s card (7-5)

Hello! Hello!

Meet today’s card.

SmilewithBlingCard_teri

That red paper might look familiar. It was leftover from another recent card making adventure. 😉

All the papers here are from Imaginisce. The ribbon is, too.

The gems are from Zva Creative. Have you tried their Crystals yet? I was so pleased when I applied the “smile” word here. None of the crystals came off, and the word retained its shape. Hooray! Those are some problems I’ve had with some gemstone words and shapes I’ve used in the past.

Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for today. My card making binge is still going strong so I’ll be back tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by!

Today’s card (7-4)

Hello!

Meet today’s card.

MakeMeSmileCirclesCard_teri

I had some serious fun making the background paper here. It started as just a plain piece of white cardstock.

I dry embossed it with a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. I think the folders are the most wonderful invention ever for those (like me… hee!) who like the look of embossing but totally don’t have the patience to much of it. 😉

Then, I whippped out a pen and highlighted some of the raised areas.

MakeMeSmilesCircleCard2_teri

This might sound like that process was a bit tedious, but it really wasn’t. It only a couple minutes. The trick was not applying to much pressure on the pen when I tapped the paper with it. If you really look at the actual card, you’ll see there are a few spots where I got ink on the non-raised areas of the paper. I didn’t think the misplaced ink distracted from the overall look of the card so I went with it.

The rub-on is from Melissa Frances. The gems here are finds from the dollar bin at M’s.

That’s all I have for now. I’ll be back tomorrow.

Happy 4th of July to those in the States. And happy weekending to the rest of you. 🙂

Howdy!

So glad it’s Friday.

And so glad to share with you  today’s card.

YouretheBestCard_teri

When I made it, I was thinking of a friend, who has brought many smiles to my face over the last few years.  The words pretty much say it all. 🙂

The patterned papers and flower are from Imaginisce. The words are a rub-on from Melissa Frances.  The gems are from Zva Creative.

Well, that’s all I have for now. I’ll be back over the weekend!

Hello friends!

Meet today’s card.

ThinkingofYouQuiltBlockCard_teri

It’s a little hard to tell from the picture, but the texture paper behind the patterned paper panels is vellum. I just used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to give it that bubble texture.

Whatelse to tell you? Oh, the papers. They are from Cosmo Cricket’s Early Bird collection. The sentiment is a rub-on from Melissa Frances. The eyelets are from my stash of 10,000 or so that I tucked away many moons ago, 😉

Anyway, that’s all I have for now. I’ve been on a bit of a card binge so I’ll be back tomorrow.

Have a super day!

Today’s card (7-1)

Boo! 😉

Today’s post is short and sweet.

Meet today’s card.

ThanksaMillionCard_teri

See those half green circles? I cut them from packaging leftover from a sheet of Twitterpated chipboard circles.

The patterned papers are from the Imaginisce’s Twitterpated collection. The sentiment is a rub-on from Melissa Frances.

Well, that’s all for today. I’ll be back tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by.
