Today’s cards: a PTI party (8-13)

Hello all!

The time has come. I finally get to share few projects with Papertrey Ink’s August release. Yay!

I’ve got three cards for you today

Meet card #1.

PTI_CanTSmileCard_teri

This one uses the Scattered Showers Additions set. I cheered when I saw this set.  It has some really great sayings for  encouragement and “missing you” cards. Plus it’s appropriate for my life. We get a lot of rain here. 😉

The button, ribbon, cardstock and ink (Lavender Moon, Plum Pudding and New Leaf) are also from PTI.

Meet card #2.

This one uses the Autumn Abundance set. Great set for a color lover.

I also threw in a little Polka Dot Basics 2 stamping action in for good measure.

I have a little secret on the ribbon. It is actually PTI’s Enchanted Evening Swiss Dot Satin Ribbon. I just used the back side.

Meet card #3.

PTI_ThankfulforYou_teri

This one uses the new and very pretty Fall Elegance set. The flourish, words and ornament are all from that set.

The button started out plain.

I stamped the ornament on it with Fresh Snow ink. After that, I tossed a little clear embossing powder on top and heated it up with my embossing gun. I let the button sit for about a minute and then used it like any old embellishment. Easy peasy.

Well, that’s what I have for now. Thanks for stopping by!

Tune in tomorrow for some more Papertrey Ink cards. I went overboard with this release and made a bunch more cards to share with you. I had a hard time picking just three to share with you.

And be sure to check out Nichole’s blog to see all the great things she has done with this release. Plus, she’s got links to all her  design team members that show off their projects.

Have a great day!
