Good Friday to everyone!
I’ve got a few more cards to share with you today that use Papertrey Ink’s August release.
Meet card #1.
This one doesn’t look very Fall’ish, but it uses the 2009 Autumn Tags set. The circle image is from it. So are the words.
To tone down the background circles, I placed a panel of vellum over them.
I recently rediscovered vellum and have been using it a lot lately. It’s one of those things that I used a lot in my early scrapbook years and then kind of forgot about.
Meet card #2.
This one is actually part of a set of 3″ x 3″ mini cards I made using the 2009 Halloween Tags set. The design of each card in the set follows the same scheme. I just swapped out the stamps.
The words and the large circle tag are from that Halloween set. The polka dot background and itty bitty circles are from Polka Dot Basics 1 (an “older but seriously” loved by me set).
Meet card #3.
This card uses the Boo to You set.
It was kind of a late night experiment on my part. 😉 I was going to slap on a pair of wiggly eyes on Mr. Bat. I didn’t have quite the right size so I used a marker to give him a nice pair of glowing eyes instead.
Well, that is all I’ve got for you for today.
Hopefully, you aren’t bored with my PTI party. I’ve got one more day of cards with stuff from the August release on them.
I’ll be back tomorrow. Thank you for stopping by!
