Today’s card (8-16)

So, we meet again. 😉

Meet today’s card.

I used stamp kissing on this one to add the polka dots to the Moments to Remember tile.

For those of you who have never stamp kissed before, I worked up a few snapshots to show you how the process works.

First, I inked up the Moments stamp. If you don’t have a stamp like this, any good fairly solid stamp works.

Then, I stamped the polka dot stamp (ink-free) right onto it. I tried hard not to move the stamp as I set it down so the polkies wouldn’t blur.

Finally, I removed the polka dot stamps and stamped the Moments stamp on cardstock. This is the final result.

Woolah! 😉

This card has a lot of Technique Tuesday stuff on it. The Moments and Good Times stamps are from the Summertime Tags by Ali Edwards stamp set. It’s the August stamp set for their new Studio AE direct-ship stamp club.

The polkies are from the Passion for Polka set, while the little flourish on the butterfly is from the Simply You set. The butterfly is a punch from Martha Stewart. The pearl is from my stash.

That is all for now. Thanks for stopping by today!

And big thanks to all who left comments over the last few days. You guys always have a way of making me smile. Thank you again!

  1. This is crazy awesome goodness!!! I want that stamp set now!!! I love it but thought since I wasn’t a scrapbooker I couldn’t use it. Um, I was wrong. I’ve never kissed before. Can you believe it?

  2. Your card is lovely, Teri. I’ve not stamp kissed in a while. Really need to do that! It’s a technique I really love the outcome of.

  3. I love that technique- so fun!! Haven’t done it in a while….
