Go-to Challenge: Basic Grey (9-29)

Hi everyone!

I’m taking a break from Technique Week and  the World Card Making Day count downtown to share the results of the most recent Go-to Challenge.

In case you are just tuning in, the Go-to-Gals team up each month for a challenge. We pick one manufacturer who has products we dig and challenge each other to see what we can come up with.

And we’d love it if you’d like to like to join in. Post a project and share a link to it through one of our blogs so we can see it.

We decided this month to play with Basic Grey’s products this month.  We all dig Basic Grey like no one’s business.

Basic Grey to me is a great producer of more artsy type papers. Even though I’m not so much an artsy card maker, I feel a bit artsy cool when I cut into a piece of Basic Grey paper. Just something about it. Anyone else ever feel that way?

Enough chit chat. Let me show what I came up with.

Meet today’s card.

I used Basic Grey’s Curio collection  and Basics collection for this card.

I finished it off with a few stick pins from Jenni Bowlin and some ribbon from my stash.

Be sure to check out the blogs of Betsy, Maren, Kim K., Kim H. and Jess to see what they did for the challenge.

That’s all for now. Thanks for stopping by!

Be back later.

PS… CHECK out the Paper Crafts blog today. I’m over there and giving away all these goodies to three people (cough cough… Lawn Fawn… cough cough… Technique Tuesday… cough cough… Zva Creative… cough cough… Stamp It! Cards).

  1. Mmmmm…..GORGEOUS.
I don’t buy Basic Grey. I just can’t make it work.
But you made this line look fabulous!! Way to be artsy cool 🙂

  2. Beautiful card made with beautiful papers. I feel the same way about Basic Grey. I think you, Teri, can do anything with any type of paper or product.

  3. I agree with you about BG. I remember when they first came out…and every season, they still come out with great products. Lovely card, as usual, Teri!
