Technique Tuesday: Dec. Studio AE peek #2 (12-2)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

This is one more card that uses one of the stamps from the new and coming soon December Studio AE stamp set from Technique Tuesday.

This is one of those deceivingly simple cards. 😉

Simple it may look, but believe me, it took a bit of work to put together this one.

The pink twine started out as white Baker’s Twine. I dyed it myself! (What was I thinking?) I squirted spray mist in my hands and set the twine in it. I  literally rubbed it with mist over and over until it was completely covered and then let it air dry.

Then, I made the tag by stamping the sentiment several times on graph paper and pink cardstock, cutting the lines out and then piecing everything together.

I’ll share a few more peeks of this set later in the month. And… hint, hint… you might want to keep watching this little blog because there might a giveaway at some point later this month involving this set. Just. Might. Be. 😉

That’s all for now. Be back later!

Have a swell day!

Technique Tuesday: Studio AE December Peek #1 (12-1)

Hi all!

Today, I’m bringing you a peek of a project I made with one of the new Studio AE stamps for December from Technique Tuesday.

So meet today’s card. 🙂

See those words? Those are from the set, which is called Life with You.

Just in case you haven’t heard about Studio AE, it’s an all-new monthly, direct-ship stamp club from Technique Tuesday. Well-known scrapper Ali Edwards (and all around good egg) designed all the stamps for the club. A new set comes out every month.

The heart and flower are from another Ali set – Loving Words. To this day, it is in my top 10 favorite TT sets ever. If you have checked out my blog any time … in… oh… I don’t know… the last three years… you know I am a longtime TT fan. 😉 I have loved many TT sets.

You’ll be able to see the set live sometime today on the TT Web site by going to this page here.

That’s all for now. Be back again soon!

PS. Don’t forget to check out the Paper Crafts and Moxie Fab World blogs. There are festivities all week to celebrate the new Card Creations: Favorite Occasions special issue.
