Paper Smooches/EAD Designs blog hop (3-18)

Hello, hello!

It’s a Blog Hop kind of day.

Today, I’m teaming up with the Paper Smooches gang for the first-ever Paper Smooches/EAD Designs blog hop.

Paper Smooches  recently partnered up with EAD Designs to make rub-ons and stickerz. We thought that it would be fun to show just how well these products work together with Paper Smooches stamps.

With that,  meet my project for the hop and today’s card.

The Merci word is one of the Paper Smooches/EAD Designs rub-ons. The cute critters are from Paper Smooches’ Birthday Buddies stamp set. The patterned paper is from BasicGrey.

Be sure to check out the blogs of  the entire Paper Smooches team to see what everyone came up with:

Heather Pulvirenti
Heidi Van Laar
Kryssi Ng
Laurie Schmidlin
Teri (<—- that’s me)

Be sure to comment on at least one of the blogs for a chance to win. Kim will pick one person from all of the comments received on all five of the blogs to receive  receive 2 packs of EAD “thank you” rub-ons/stickerz and one PS stamp set.  The more blogs you comment on, the better chance you have to win.

Today’s card (3-17)

Hi all!

Meet today’s card.

Don’t ya hate it when deadlines past and you suddenly get inspiration to make something off of the call?

This is a little card I worked up off one of the sketches from the most recent call for submissions from Paper Crafts. I made it … oh….. a hour after the deadline passed. 😉 Never let a silly little thing like a deadline get in the way of making something.

The stamped words and images here are from the Sending Smiles Messages stamp set from Hero Arts. The patterned paper is from GCD Studios’ Soul Food collection.

That’s all for now. Be back later.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Birthday, Lawn Fawn!

Hi all!

Just a little something, something today in honor of Lawn Fawn and their first anniversary!

Meet today’s card.

See the cake and the words? They are part of a new mini set (called Year One) that anyone who orders $50 in Lawn Fawn products from their online store this month will get. Pretty dang cute.

The hat is from the Hats Off to You set. I thought it worked for the party feel of this little card.

That’s all for now. Be back again soon!

Thanks for stopping by.

Lawn Fawn: Say Cheese and Say Cheese Too

Hi all!

It’s another day of Lawn Fawn fun!

Today, we are playing again with Say Cheese and Say Cheese Too.

With that, meet today’s card.

I used both sets this time. The words and  the itty bitty camera are from Say Cheese Too. The big camera is from Say Cheese.

Lawn Fawn: Plus One

Yep.Yep. It’s another day of Lawn Fawn fun!

Today, the Lawn Fawn gang is playing with the new Plus One set.

I’ve got two cards for you.

Meet #1.

The frame on this one is actually from square from the snapshot in Say Cheese. The baby’s head is the happy face in that set. I thought with a litle pink on the cheeks and a little hair, it made for a cute baby.

The words, stork and umbrella are all from Plus One.

And meet #2.

I was a wee bit traditional on this one and used the stork as it came. I added the cloud, which is from Partly Cloudy.

I stamped it on cardstock. You’ll note there’s poor ink coverage ‘ in this picture cause it just didn’t matter. I used it as a guide to cut out the cloud.

I flipped it over, and then used a pen to add a little highlighting.

Easy peasy.

Lawn Fawn: Critters in the Forest

Hi all!
The Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week party continues.
Today is all about Critters in the Forest.

So, with that, meet today’s card. 🙂

The tree, dragonfly, fox and words are all from this super duper set. The snapshot is from the new Say Cheese set.

Where to begin but to say that I love this new Critters stamp set. Have to say that the fox had me at hello. 😉

I did a little bit of coloring for this one. I drew the green lines on the tree with a pen. I also colored in the fox with a marker and then used one just a hair darker to give it a little extra sharing.

The bow is my own hodgepodge design. 🙂

Lawn Fawn: Say Cheese

Hi all!
It’s Inspiration Week in the Lawn Fawn world, and we are today are playing with the Say Cheese stamp set.
I decided to do something I haven’t done in awhile, and (gasp) make a layout. 😉

Meet today’s not-a-card project.

The snapshots are from the set. I stamped each snapshot on cardstock. Then, I stamped them right on the pictures. I didn’t work about the ink I used because I just needed to know where to cut them so I could mount them to the snapshots.
The stamped words and numbers and happy face on the snapshots are from Say Cheese Too. I also whipped out Jessie’s ABCs to stamp in the title.

The patterned paper is “vintage” American Crafts. Ok, not really vintage, but it is from (the many releases ago but much loved by me still) The Goods collection.

Today’s card (3-10)

So we meet again. 😉

Meet today’s card.

This is a little something I worked up the other day.

We’ve had a lot of rain lately where I live so it seemed only appropriate to whip out Lawn Fawn’s Partly Cloudy stamp set  and whip up something. The umbrellas, happy face and rain drop are all from the set.

Nothing like cute stamps to cheer up an otherwise “blah, blah” day.

The words are from another set called Hello Friend.

Everything else is from the old stash-a-roo.

That’s all for now. Be back again later.

Twine… lots of beautiful twine (3-9)

Hi all!

I’m over on Paper Crafts Connection today.

I’m talking about this.

And I’m sharing these.

Oh yeah, and there’s a giveaway involving something like this.

In fact, two big luscious rolls of something delicious like this. (Thank you, Whisker Graphics.)

Be sure to comment on my post on the Paper Crafts blog for a chance to win.

And, hmmm, this post is not feeling complete.

So how about a bonus card?  😉

Made with Divine Twine from Whisker Graphics.

Awww. Twine. Twine  is good.

Be back soon.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy birthday to Reenee! :) (3-8)

Hi everyone!

Today is a special post for a special person!

Reenee, are you out there? 😉 🙂 Hee hee, this card is for you!

Because, well, this card is for Reenee and she’s one of forces behind Clear and Simple Stamps, I used Clear and Simple Stamps’ Kind Deeds set . This is one of my favorite and most used CSS stamp sets. The sentiments in the set are some of my absolute favorites.

I paired the stamps with some patterned paper from Pink Paislee! I also whipped out one of my Martha Stewart butterfly punches for it.

Reenee, I hope you are having the best birthday! Sending big birthday hugs and smiles to you! I hope to see you on the road this year and give you a belated birthday hug!
