Today’s card (9-19)

Hi everyone!

I love tying pieces of twine around my cards. I do it all the time.

But lately I’ve been having lots of fun creating two-twine bows for my cards.
Not sure what a two-twine bow is? Well, take this card for example.

See how the one bow consists of Lemonade Pink and Cola Red Twine? And see how the other consists of Blue Sugar and Limeade twine?  That’s what I am talking about.

These bows are easy to make.

Start by cutting two pieces of twine.

Line them up on a table. Use a little bit of tape to temporarily hold them in place. Bring the pieces together by tying a bow.

Snip off the excess twine from the bow. Remove the tape.

And the end result is a pretty: a pretty two-color twine bow!

The hardest part in making these is the first one. Once you’ve made one, you’ll want to make them again and again.

  1. This card has less details, but it look extra stunning and adorable! Never thought that 2 twine bows could create a gorgeous card as this! Love the color and the texture. And what more, the way you made it look so adorable with less embellishments deserves a two thumbs up!

  2. Such clever ideas. I love the twine tied in two different colors. I would have never thought of that. And on one of the previous cards, you wrapped the stamp around the block to just get some of the words. So much easier than masking with scotch tape, especially for multiple stampings. Thanks for the great tips.
