October Studio AE from Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Hi everybody!

It’s the 10th.

That’s means it’s Studio AE Blog hop time and I get to share something new I’ve with the new Give Thanks by Ali Edwards stamp set.

This month’s set is so much fun. I love it for Haloween and Fall projects.

I thought it would make a good set for “Thankful” type projects, too, so I worked up a scrapbook page about my family to share with you all!

Are you ready for it? Ready now? Ok. Go!πŸ˜‰

The Give Thanks. Thankful and “Gratitude” phrase are from the new stamp set.

The “Family is Remembering” phrase I used from the title is from the September Studio AE set.I really liked being able to mix the two sets together for this page. Some of those stamps work so well together.

Be sure to check the blogs of everyone taking part in today’s blog hop:

Heidi Van Laar (our Studio AE Guest for October)

Teri (<—- Yep. You are here.)

As a thank you for all the comments received during the hop on all eight blogs, as well as those left on the Technique Tuesday blog, we will give away two stamp sets.

One person will win the Who What Where by Ali Edwards stamp set.

One other lucky person will win the You Always Know by Ali Edwards stamp set.

You don’t need to leave a comment on all the blogs to be eligible to win. But the more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win.

All comments must be made by midnight PST on Oct. 12th.

Tune into the Technique Tuesday blog on Oct. 13th to see if you are one of the lucky winners.

That’s all for now. See you all soon!

  1. Love the circles. Love the colors. Love the photo. Love the layers. This is absolutely my favorite use of Ali’s stamps!

  2. Teri, I love your layout! How fun using those great papers with the old photo. The Sept stamps were perfect for your layout. After doing the Studio AE hop this morning, I am in the mood to scrapbook!! πŸ™‚

  3. This layout inspired and touched me in many ways. I love seeing people appreciate their heritage and the people that they came from. I love seeing how you want to remember your ancestors and make their story a part of yours. As someone who does not have old family photos and little information, it warms my heart to see you cherish this!

  4. Fabulous layout! Love the old photo with the homespun feel of the patterned paper you selected. Wonderful way to showcase a special memory.

  5. I am not commenting to win (though I would love to win!!!!!!!!), but I just LOVED your layout… you rarely make layouts, i mean I love all of your cards, but your scrapbooking style is Ah-may-zing!!

  6. oooo..TFS! I love what you did with the stamps & I recognize that PP as some I recently got in my Studio Calico Kit. You’ve given me the inspiration I needed to dig in to that kit and make something. Now just waiting for my Studio AE Oct set to arive!!

  7. Gorgeous page, Teri! I always enjoy your cards, and – no surprise – your pages are just as fabulous. Love the circle elements, and love especially how you used both AE stamp sets.

  8. I love the circle borders that help soften the angle lines from the photo and the paper strips! Beautiful photo, too!

  9. Great layout!! Love this months stamps…but then I love all of Ali’s stamps! Which btw, I’d love to win one of the two sets in this giveaway!!!

  10. Awesome! Love this layout with all the circles and the vintage photo. The stamps worked so well with this layout…I can’t wait to get my set!

  11. What a beautiful layout! Love how you used the stamps in the circles and outside of the circles, love how you cut the heart out! And, while I love Ali Edwards script, your own handwriting beside the photo looks fabulous! Great job. Thank you for sharing!
