Little Treasures Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Hello all!

Woot! Technique Tuesday’s Stamping Techs are blog hopping again!

Welcome to the Little Treasures Blog Hop!

This month, we are playing with Technique Tuesday’s Little Treasures stamp sets.

These affordable little stamp sets are a great way to try out Technique Tuesday’s stamps. They sell for just $2.99 each. From ones of flowers to ones with Ali Edwards’ handwriting, there are a lot to choose from.

Meet the card I worked up for today’s hop!

The “You are the Best” phrase is from the Smooch from Ali Edwards stamp set.

The technique I used to make the background is kind of a gradient masking technique.

Here’s how to do it.

Start with a piece of cardstock. Mask off portions of it with sticky notes.

Start stamping with the lightest color. Stamp the phrase over and over with that color.

Then use a color that is a hair darker. Stamp again and again and again and again.

Then use your darkest color and start stamping. Once again, you’ll need to stamp again and again and again and again and again.😉

When finished, remove the sticky notes and go to card making town (so to speak).

Be sure to check out the blogs of everyone taking part in today’s blog hop.

Teri (Yep. Here you are.)

We want to give some Little Treasures stamps to two of you out there today.

From the comments received on all the blogs, we will pick one lucky person to win the Love Makes the World Go Round stamp set.

We’ll also pick one person to win the A Million and One by Ali Edwards stamp set.

You don’t need to comment on all the blogs to be eligible to win. But the more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win!

Comments must be posted by midnight on Nov. 30th. The winner will be announced on Dec. 1st sometime on the Technique Tuesday blog.

Thanks for stopping by!
