Hi all!
Meet today’s not-a-card project. 😉 Ha!
I came home the other night from an adventure with a couple of my good friends, inspired to quickly put together a scrapbook page with some photo strips from the evening. (The three of us are quite addicted to photo booths and have quite a collection of them over the years. The collection grows a little every time we get together.)
Because it was super late… and because I wanted to do it quickly (and pressure-free)… I decided to go the slotted page protector way (aka: the Project Life way).
I used cards from Project Life’s Seafoam edition, as well as a couple Technique Tuesday stamp sets – Fill in the Blank and In a Nutshell.
In full disclosure here, I should say I designed both of these stamp sets. When I made them, it was pages like this – quick and simple – that I really hoped to be able to use them with.
I also mixed in a few wood shapes from Studio Calico, some gems and a few stickers.
Oh yeah, and I added a little handwriting. It was a bit on the messy side for this project but, sometimes, I regret I don’t do it more often in my scrapbooks.
All in all, I think I spent a grand total of 45 (mostly fuss free) minutes on this page, which is a kinda a scrapbooking miracle in my world. 😉 Sure, it’s not the fanciest page, but it’s kinda fun to just get it in the books so soon and so fast.
That’s all I have got. Be back again later, gators.
This page nicely captures Friends having Fun! Great mix of pics and design elements, as well as, journaling. 🙂
love it!
It was obvious that you all had a great time! Love the photo booth photos and your simplicity with embellishments/cards is perfect. Love it!
Love this! It turned out so cute!
I love it!
So. Much. Fun!
Super fun! And the stamps really are perfect and awesome! And you’ve caused the light bulb to finally go off in my head that I need to take advantage of “photo booth” opportunities when they present themselves! Such a great idea that finally has filtered through my brain and planted itself into the “don’t forget to do this” area! TFS, big time!!!!!!
What fun a page! Makes me want to pull out my photo booth pictures from High School and scrapbook them. They sorta go with Glitter Girls challenge over at 2Peas. 🙂
I think your page ROCKS…you really accented the photo booth pics ingeniously.
Love this so much! Sometimes you have those pics that you just want to get in a book, love the ease of your layout that still has the wow factor.
Brilliant! Perfect CAS page. PL scares me but you make it look so easy!
Really love this bright, modern, clean and funky design of your little journalling cards! Great mix of elements thrown in too!
