Paper Smooches December DT Blog Hop (12-26)

Hi all!

Woohoo! It’s Pep Rally week and the Paper Smooches team is working together today to share a sampling of the Paper Smooches January release with you!  TEN new stamps and EIGHT new dies will be available to purchase at 12:01am, Eastern time…on January 1st.  It’s CHA (trade show time) so the release is extra big! (Hooray!) You will find them HERE!

To add extra fun to our blog hop…we are offering up a prize!

  • FOUR winners will be chosen at RANDOM from any of the design team blogs and the PS Blog
  • The prize – a $25. gift code to choose what you like at the PS online store.
  • Just leave a comment on any of the design team blogs listed below or the PS blog for your chance to win!  (you do not need to comment on all blogs to qualify but it increases your changes)
  • You have until midnight MT on Sunday, December 29th to leave a comment.
  • Please check the Paper Smooches blog on Monday, December 30th to see if you are one of the FOUR lucky winners.

To increase your chances of winning:

  • Tell us that you Facebooked about our blog hop
  • Tell us that you Tweeted about our hop
  • Tell us that you posted on your blog about our blog hop

(which means that you have up to three extra chances to win on each blog)

Alright. So let me show you what I cooked up for the hop!

I was challenged to make something with the new Talk Bubbles stamp set. The large stamped bubble and the “happy birthday” sentiment” are from the set. I used the new Talk Bubbles dies to cut the smaller bubbles!

It’s no secret that I sorta like to mix and match things together… and might have be a bad secret keeper (Sorry, Kim! Wink!)… so I also used a couple other Paper Smooches’ stamp sets on this guy: the new & coming in January Scripty Sayings set for the Celebrate word and the classic Birthday Buddies set for the beaver.

So that’s what I have for you!

Happy hopping to you today! Hope you had a Merry Christmas!

  2. So fun! I love the speech bubbles and that little guy peeking up. And I am quite alright with your inability to keep secrets, feel free to spill anything you want here. 😉

  3. Great idea on not coloring the image just using the rest of the design to pull the colors. Great idea and love the sentiments and image. Fun card. Happy New Year.

  6. Your card is adorable, Teri. (Is it bad that I always check your blog FIRST when I see your name on a list for blog hops? — Your cards are always so cute, fresh, and innovative!) I’m SO looking forward to seeing the whole release! Eighteen new products means that my wish list will grow by leaps and bounds. 🙂

  7. Saw this on FB and LOVE it!! Fun design combining new (and Old) images. Posted about the hop on my blog and FB.

  8. Super cute card!! I absolutely love the sentiment!! That font is amazing and is my FAV!!! A def. must have for me!! 🙂 I also love the speech bubbles and the dies!!

  9. Oh man…. There’s a stamp set that hasn’t even come out and I already have to have it!!! Love the ‘celebrate’! And who can resist the beaver b-day buddy?? Awesome!

  10. Teri – I just have to take a moment to THANK YOU for all the inspiration you have given me over the years …I go to your blog EVERY DAY and am so thrilled when I see a new post 🙂 And, about three years ago you gave a challenge to MAKE cards instead of buying them … I have done exactly that, and have loved every minute of it! Each card I make is better than the last and I am feeling more confident, more excited, and more happy that I have reinforced a passion … I feel that these little bits of paper and glue truly make the receiver feel loved and happy – and it makes me so happy to make others smile 🙂 You have been a constant muse and inspiration to me! Thank you for your guidance, your creativity, and for the freedom and encouragement to TRY! You are amazing!
