It’s Day 5 of the 12 in 12 holiday challenge. So meet my take on it!
I’ve long been a fan of banners so I decided to give it a try for today’s card. Rather than flags, I used a couple tags stamped with Kelly Purkey’s Tis the Season set from Simon Says Stamp!
The holly element is a sticker from Me & My Big Ideas. The papers are just scraps leftover from other recent projects.
Looking forward to seeing what Ashley’s made today. I am sure it won’t disappoint.
We meet again.
Another day. Another take on my 12 in 12 challenge with Ashley.
I had a strong desire to make a funky tree of sorts with the Holiday Layered Tree stamp set from Simon Says Stamp! today. So, yep, I die-cut a base with Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Journaling card and then stamped a few random tree branches.
I dolled it up with … really… a random bunch of embellishments (a chipboard snowflake, a gem and some epoxy dots). The trunk is a piece of jute.
By the way, the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp!, too. It’s from the Santa’s Coming by Kelly Purkey stamp set. It’s a fun one.
Alright! That is today’s card. Bam. 😉
Be sure to check out Ashley’s take on today’s challenge. Be back tomorrow.
Hi all! Me again. 🙂
Back again for another 12 in 12 post. Meet today’s card!
The second I saw Kelly Purkey’s Cheers stamp set from Simon Says Stamp!, I knew it would be mine and would be perfect to make a few cards two of my closest friends, B & P. They are fellas so I can’t go all girlie girl on cards for them. Because… trust me… if I did, I’d never (ever) hear the end of it.
I still haven’t quite heard the end of the time that B and I went to a stamp convention a couple years ago, and… well…
Hmmm. Yeah, we’ll save that story for another day. 😉
Alright, so that’s all I have. Be back later, gators!
PS… Don’t forget to check out Ashley’s blog to see her take on Day 3 of our 12 in 12 challenge. Can’t wait to see.
Another day. Another 12 in 12 card.
Played on the cute and (sorta) shabby side today!
The holiday season element is a tag that pops apart from We R Memory Keepers. I just snipped off the top and then popped up the middle element with foam tape.
Added a little extra ink around the edges of the this guy. I tend to not be much of an edge inker so it’s a bit of a walk on the wild side for me here. But change is good, right? 😉
Can’t wait to see what Ashley did today!
Be back again later… gators. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, y’all!
Yep. It’s the time of the year again when my pal Ashley and I challenge each other to tackle Christmas cards.
Last year, we did 25 cards in 25 days (and then some). This year, we are scaling back and going with a good solid 12.
So meet my take on Day No. 1.
A soft, eclectic card today. Paired together mostly stuff from Crate Paper’s Bundled Up collection.
Added some cardstock, a doily and some random sequins to the mix, too!
Looking forward to seeing what Ashley’s cooked up today!
Be back tomorrow with another card. 🙂
