February Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday (2-10)

Hooray! It’s Studio AE Blog Hop time again!

Thrilled to be joining a few of my favorite folks today! For today’s hop, we are using the all-new Best Banners by Ali Edwards stamp set.

I’ve got two projects to share.

Here’s No. 1.

This one was pretty simple. I stamped up a couple banners, poked holes in them and then slid a toothpick through each one to make a couple picks for food. Imagine doing something simple like this for Valentine’s Day or Birthday cupcakes. Easy peasy.

Plus, if you didn’t want to go the food route, you could use these little flags on a card or scrapbook page.

And here is No. 2.

Speaking of using those flags on a card, I made a couple for this one. 😉

I also added a word from Ali’s So Very Thankful stamp set for Technique Tuesday.

Be sure to check out all the stops on today’s hop.

Technique Tuesday will pick one person from all the comments received on all the blogs to score a $25 e-Gift Card from TechnqueTuesday.com. The lucky winner will be announced on the Technique Tuesday blog on the 15th.

  1. I love the little banners in the treat! Those would be so cute to do on Valentines Day or for a birthday breakfast!

  2. I did think about these stamps for cardmaking (they’re perfect!), but I didn’t think about food décor too! Cute idea for toothpicks! 🙂

  3. LOVE both your projects — I never even considered putting a banner decoration on a whoopie pie, but these are sweet!

  4. Love that you think out of the box! The treat idea is good any time. And your card really stands out! Awesome!

  5. Cute flags! Love the one on the checkered paper… sometimes I forget to stamp on patterned paper! So simple but such a fun look! Love the card too!

  7. Very creative use for the stamps! I can see using the “best” and the “love” stamps on some yummy goodies too!

  8. Those banner stamps are fab, but you made them dynamite!! So cute in treats AND cards–loving them both! As always, you made super fun stuff 🙂

  9. Really cute! I love how you turned the banners into a card. Always love your designs. Thanks for sharing.
