Hi again!
Feeling like I’m on a bit of a roll right now.
Got a card to share again today.
This one pairs together a bunch of Technique Tuesday stamps and dies: Boy Flair by Ali Edwards, Lots of Dots, Seriously Rad (the arrow is from that stamp set), Howdy (the stars are from it), Story Card die, Magic Circle card die (the die-cut star is from it) and their Circle dies.
Had a lot of fun just going to town on this one and seeing what I came up with. I think I would have made it easier on myself to go patterned paper-free and just use cardstock. But the patterns added a bit more challenge to designing this guy. It’s good sometimes to add to the challenge.
It’s a little hard to tell but those larger stars are extra special. I die-cut them from wood veneer and then die-cut them again with vellum. Kinda digging that layered look right now.
So that’s it for the card.
But before I go, I should mention that I paid a visit over the weekend to Simon Says Stamp! blog with a couple cards and a stamped sentiment trick. Here’s a peek at what you’ll see over there. This link gets you right to the post.
Ok, that’s all for today.
Oh gosh, wait. Have you heard much about Top Dog Dies? Check out the post below this one to hear a little bit about my experience using their dies and see something I made.
I’ll be back later.
What a great card…love using circles so this card really appeals to me.
FAB card! Like all the embellished circles and the newsprint behind the focal panel. 🙂
