MFT Countdown: Day 2

Hi all!

Thanks to all of you who stopped by yesterday. So excited to guest with My Favorite Things this month. (Thanks again, MFT, for asking!)

So I’ve got another project to share with you today.

This one uses the new Stripes Cover-Up Die-namics die and BB Every Day is a Picnic stamp set (and coordinating BB Every Day is a Picnic Die-namics dies). Alright.  Pressure. (Breathe, Teri. Breathe.) Here we go. 😉

I also used the new Pierced Fishtails Flags Stax Die-namics to cut the flag for the sentiment.

Look really close at the background and you’ll see that Stripes Cover-Up Die-namics plate. I cut it with three colors of cardstock and then staggered them to create  a multi-tone background.

The process went a bit like this.

Cut three Cover-Up plates.

Layer two together.

And then layer the third and get something like this.

Kinda fun, right? And imagine doing that will all kinds of different colors of cardstock.

To see more peeks from the new release, be sure to hit the My Favorite Things blog. You’ll find links to all the MFT designers who are sharing projects today.

Be back again tomorrow.

And thanks again for stopping by, y’all!
