MFT Countdown: Day 5

Hi all!

Me again! Hopefully, you haven’t gotten tired of me yet. 😉

I’m back with another project made with some of My Favorite Things’ new products for June.

Ok, here we go. And one…

Ta-da!

I once again whipped out the Pierced Fishtail Flags Stax Die-namics dies. (Gosh, I dig those things.) I cut all the flags with them.

And then I pulled out the new Smile stamp set and the new Peek-a-boo Hearts Frame Die-namics dies to help me with put together the rest of the card.

The hearts come with four different sizes of hearts. I used the smallest to cut heart pattern into my largest flag.

What’s neat about the dies is the holes are just the perfect size so you can sew floss, twine, ribbon or good old thread (like I did with the gold stuff) through them.

Just for kicks, here’s how my flag looked before I embellished the heart.

I forgot to take my metal shim off out of my die-cut machine when I ran it through so I ended up with a bit of a happy accident here because it resulted in some debossing from the edges of the heart die.

Well, that’s all I have for today.

Don’t forget to hit the My Favorite Things blog. You’ll find links to all the MFT designers who are sharing projects today.  (And don’t forget: The products from MFT’s new release land on June 10th.)

Hope to see you again tomorrow!

  1. I love the angled fishtail-dienamics flags you made going at an angle and in all different papers! I also love all the little things you did to make them stand out! This card will make its recipient smile!

  2. What a fun card! The colors you chose are wonderful (gotta love the bling of the gold glitter paper) and I love the way you did the stitching on the heart! Every day it has been so wonderful to see what you have done with the featured products! Thanks so much for sharing!
