MFT Countdown: 3

Here we are again!

Another day closer to the September release from My Favorite Things.

I’ve just one card to share with you all today.

So meet today’s card.

This was pretty fun to make!

The little girl and the “You’re so sweet” phrase are from the super cute (and new) Pure Innocence Peanut Butter & Jelly stamp set. (And, yes, there’s a coordinating die to go with it! YAY!) I used my trusty color pencils to color in and then did some blending with Gamsol.

The yellow paper isn’t patterned paper. No sir! It’s a piece of cardstock I die-cut with the new Pinking Edge Rectangle STAX Die-namics and then stamped on top with the Fine Check Background stamp.

Here’s a complete list of the MFT supplies I used to make this card:

Be sure to hit the MFT blog to see who else is sharing projects today.

And I’ll be back once again tomorrow.  Have a great day, y’all!

  1. Cuteness to the maximum. Love the pattern paper you created with background stamps. You are my inspiration with the use of gamsol and color pencils. Cheers!

  2. Couldn’t find the Fine Linen (perhaps it is on the red layer), and I have become a fan of using the Burlap with the Fine Check. Gorgeous together. Another great color-combed card with a great layout. Your work is always so creative and lovely. Even if you threw it on the floor and stomped on it, it would still be lovely, but full of added texture. 🙂
