MFT Countdown: 6

And we meet again!

It’s another day in the countdown toward more awesome products from My Favorite Things‘ November release.

So let’s on with show.

Please give it for card #1.

This card? SO STINKIN’ FUN to make.

I mean, seriously, how cute is that polar bear?! Super cute if you ask.  He’s from the new Cool Day stamp set (which lands 11/11). Such a sweet stamp with two (two!) adorable polar bears. Don’t worry, friends. You’ll see the other one around here later in the week.

To give the ice patch a little more of an icy feeling, I put a little glitter on it. The process went a bit like this: stamp and die-cut ice patch, add squirt of glue, liberally use finger to spread it over the icy patch and then dump on a whole lot of glitter. 😉

I think it turned out pretty fun!

And here is card #2.

I created the rectangles with the Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX Die-namics, which also land at MFT on 11/11. I stamped a pattern with the Nordic Knits stamp set on top. I used my trusty needle and piercing tool (and a little bit of floss) to add the white stitches to it.

And the words? Well, they are from the Cool Day stamp set.

Here’s a list of the MFT products I used on these cards:

Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see which other MFT design team members are sharing projects today. Hope to see you again tomorrow.

  1. LOVE Torico’s new set! Your bear card is ADORABLE! Great, bright colors and nice use of stamps and new stitched dies on your second card. 🙂

  2. I love the glittery effect on the iceberg and that bear…adorable. Love all the layers on the 2nd card. These are both so cute!

  3. Love the kraft background on the adorable polar bear card and the added stitching on the pink and green one. Thanks for the inspiration.
