And we have lift-off! The February release from My Favorite Things is now available. You can see all the new goods here.
And, yay! To celebrate, I’m excited to share with you some projects I made with the new Headphones Die-namics and Keep on Rockin’ stamp set (and some of the other new goods)! So… let’s do it!
Just having fun with this one. I stamped the background with the new Polka Dot Background stamp and then added some stars with Pierced Star STAX Die-namics.
And this is card #2.
I wanted to do something a little more edgy with this one so I splattered paint onto the white card stock first.
And then to make the headphones stand out, I adhered them to the card with foam adhesive.
I dig how they look they are just popping off the card.
And, finally, this is card #3.
I wanted to make something lovey dovey so that’s what I did. I created the headphones in pink and then added some hearts with the Pierced Heart STAX Die-namics.
So that’s what I have for you today.
Here’s a list of MFT products I used on these cards:
And be sure to hit the MFT blog to find links to all the other design team members who are sharing projects today. Lots of good things to be found.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Hooray! It’s almost time for the February release from My Favorite Things.
I’m excited to bring you a couple “delicious” cards created with a couple more of the new products.
Please meet card #1.
Told you it had some tastiness to it. 😉
The donuts were so fun to make! I die-cut them with the brand spanking new Donuts Die-namics!
I cut the topping for the pink one from pink cardstock and then gave it a glossy finish by rubbing watermark ink on it and then embossing it with clear embossing powder. I think it really does look like icing!
For the flakey icing, I rubbed some glue on it and then dumped glitter on top.
I made a pretty simple inside for the card, adding a banner die-cut with the new Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX Die-namics and a phrase stamped with the Donuts and Sprinkles stamp set.
And meet card #2.
I couldn’t put those Donut Die-namics away! This time, I cut two toppings – one from white and one from pink cardstock. Then I using the sprinkles die (also included with the Donut Die-namics) and cut into the pink icing.
To make the icing really look like icing, I once again embossed clear embossing powder on it. I am amazed by the dimension the embossing gives the die-cut. I think it really makes it pop.

Just 2 more days until the February release from My Favorite Things is available. Just. You. Wait.
So to tantalize your taste buds, I’ve got a couple cards to share with you today. And… just like that… here we go! Cha-cha! 😉
This is Card #1.
I created that fun candy jar with the Candy Jars Die-namics. And the words are from the Candy Jar Companions stamp set. Such, such fun stuff!
And this is Card #2.
I whipped out some of the same supplies for this card. To make the jars a look a little different, I used different shades of pink cardstock and stamped different words on the labels.
That scalloped element at the top of the card? I cut that with the new Blueprints 22 Die-namics. Scallops and candy jars? Yeah. I think they are made to go with each other.
