MFT Countdown: 3

And just like that, we meet again!

We’re halfway through the countdown to the April release from My Favorite Things. Yep. You guessed it! I’ve got a couple more cards to share with you today.

Shall we? We shall!

Meet card #1.

Makes You Happy by Teri

So this card involved a bit of die-cutting and piecing things together to make the little scene. The flowers, tools, bench and birdhouse are all from the new Spring Garden Die-namics, which arrive on April 7th at My Favorite Things (along with the rest of the April release).

To create the flowers, I stacked some of them together and then just used a white paint pen to add a little dab to the centers. I tend to use a lot of enamel dots and bling these days , but sometimes you just want a cute card that is super flat and easily mailable (aka: won’t cost you an arm and a leg to send it). A pen is nice tool to use rather than those chunky embellishments.

And this is card #2.

Appreciate You card by Teri

I again used the Spring Garden Die-namics to create the little scene. Behind the little banner (cut with Blueprints 24 Die-namics) is a little flourish-y frame that (cough) you’ll be hearing more about later in the week.

For the centers, I just cut a couple sequins from white cardstock using some of the dies from Blueprints 24.

So that’s what I have for you today.

Here’s a list of MFT products I used to make these cards:

And, once again, be sure to hit the MFT Blog to see who else is sharing projects today. I can assure you this: LOTS of good stuff to be found. I might have peeked. Might have. 😉

Hope you will cruise on by tomorrow.

  1. These are two cute and colorful floral cards, Teri! Like the pots of flowers on the cool bench and the watering can with the layered yellow flower is awesome. 🙂

  2. OMG both of your cards are so beautiful, precious and pretty!! You really and truly did such beautiful creative jobs on them…..I especially love your little bench scene with the garden tools and your flower pots….just adorable. HAPPY EASTER YOU ROCK!!

  3. Both cards are so bright and springy. The spring Garden Die-namics makes me want to start gardening in my back yard right away.
