MFT Countdown: 4

Hi all!

We’re one day closer to the August release from My Favorite Things.

And I’ve got one more card made with the new stuff to share with you today.

Meet today’s card.

Sunny Smiles by Teri

I have fun playing with the Polynesian Paradise stamp set (and coordinating Die-namics) for this card. The pineapples and the words are from the stamp set.

Rather than coloring, I did some stamping, fussy cutting and die-cutting to make the pineapples. I die-cut the bases with the dies. I stamped on them. And then I stamped the pineapples again on yellow and green cardstocks and fussy cut them out with my scissors. I like the fun look/dimension the combination of techniques gave them.

The circle and rectangle were with cut with the new Double Stitched Circle STAX and Double Stitched Rectangle Die-namics. And that paper on the very bottom of the design is from the new Dots & Stripes Fresh 6×6 paper pad!  More MFT patterned paper? Hooray!!! (<— That’s what I am saying.)

To see who else is sharing projects today, check out the MFT Blog.

And for links to the products I used to make this card, check out the list below. Links for the newest stuff (the August release stuff) will work once the new release is made live at 10 p.m. EST on Tuesday.

  1. I have commented before, but just want to let you know just how fun and vibrant your style is. It’s bright and cheerful, but not generally childish. I could send any of my friends cards like yours. Thanks!

  2. Love the stripped background with the pineapples. When I see pineapples on cards I always think of a welcome/thank you/ warm sentiments. Beautiful card! This MFT day release is just awesome.

  3. Another great summertime card. I like the look of the lines on the pineapple and the lines in the background and how they both connect with one another. I love that 6X6 paper pack. Thanks for showing that off as well.

  4. These are some of my Favorite colors together. Love the background and how all of your layers come together so cohesively. Simply Beautiful!
