We’re inching closer to the August release from My Favorite Things.
And yep. You guessed it! I’m back with a few more cards created with some of the new goods. On your mark. Get set. Go!
Meet card #1.
I had high amounts of fun here, playing with the new Tiki Party stamp set (and coordinating Die-namics). Aren’t those little Tiki guys a hoot?! To add to the hooting, I added a flower (stamped with the stamps and die-cut with the dies). Just a fun little thing to do.
That pink patterned paper isn’t pre-made. No way. I stamped it by stamping the Wonky Chevron Background stamp with Razzleberry ink on Razzleberry cardstock.
I love MFT’s collection of Background stamps. They make making patterned paper for cards easy by being so large. Ink a stamp up, set a piece of cardstock on top and transfer the pattern. It’s that easy.
And meet card #2.
I created two patterned papers for this card. One with the Wonky Chevron Background stamp and another with the Wave Background stamp.
I made that window by cutting a rectangle with one of the Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics dies. And then I cut a smaller rectangle out of it.
The flower was created with the Scribble Roses stamp set and coordinating Die-namics.
So that’s what I have for you today. Be sure to hit the MFT Blog to see who else from the Design Team is sharing projects today.
And check out the list below for clickable links to the products I used to make these cards. The links to the brand new stuff will work once the new release is made live on Tuesday at 10 p.m. EST.
Thanks for stopping by today, guys!
