MFT: New Product Launch

And we have liftoff!

New Product Launch

The September release from My Favorite Things is available now. (<—– And the crowd goes wild!!!)

Go, go, go! But come back, k? I’d be … like… sad and all… if you didn’t. šŸ™‚

To celebrate, I’ve got a couple more projects to share with you that I made with the new stuff (and more). Each of these projects, in particular, uses the new Label Maker stamp set and Label Tape Die-namics in different ways!

Meet card #1.

Miss You Houses by Teri

For this one, I played it safe by creating a little scene with the London Mouse stamp set (and coordinating Die-namics). And then I added the sentiment (created with Label Maker and Label Tape Die-namics).

Miss You Houses by Teri

The little hearts came from the Tag Builder Blueprints 3. The heart was just the right size for my little scene.

And meet card #2.

Hello Friend Retro by Teri

I wanted to do something really different here!

Before I broke apart the Label Tape Die-namics, I left them connected with the wires and cut them a few times out of white cardstock. I thought the connected lines of the die made a cool pattern for a background. And then I got all fussy, filling up the pattern with different colors of “labels.”

Hello Friend Retro by Teri

The hello word was cut with the Happy Hellos Die-namics. I use them a lot… maybe even a little obsessively. šŸ˜‰

I cut the word three times, layered the words together and then added a “friend” label.

And meet card #3.

Hi There New York by Teri

This time, I created a sentiment again by mixing together the Label Maker stamp set (and Label Tape Die-namics) with a word from the Happy Hellos Die-namics.

Hi There New York by Teri

The skyline was cut with the new New York Skyline Die-namics. So, so cool! Before I adhered the skyline down and onto my card, I randomly stamped circles with round sponges onto the card. I think it made for a fun background.

So that’s what I have for you. Be sure to hit the MFT Blog to see who else from the design team is sharing projects today. Ā (Hint, hint: I peeked. Really, really cool stuff to see!)

  1. I don’t know if that’s what you were going for, but the Label Tape die card immediately made me think of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s — even tho’ you have no Tiffany blue. Fantastic!

  2. Wow, you were busy!! These cards are fantastic. I adore the houses…so cute. Very creative in how you used the Label Tape dies….awesome geometric design.

  3. Love the label tape card. Curious how you got the angles when looking at the die it seems so aligned. Care to share?

  4. I love the colors you used on all three cards – your second card just blew me away as I realize how labor intensive it must have been to fill in all those labels. The effect was well worth it though!

  5. Teri those are three amazing cards! I have loved all your cards this week. You are so creative and come up with things I never would have thought of. I love your use of color, you do it just perfectly.

  6. Such great cards. Love how you left label tape die-namics together and cut out the funky shape for the second car. So creative and ingenious. Great inspiration.

  7. Love the wonky designs on the first two cards.
the cityscape is very pretty. Love the balls of color behind it.
thanks for shring some great cards.

  8. All are great cards with bold designs, but my favorite is the cityscape (ok I’m biased towards the cityscapes), just striking!

  9. Teri, your trio of cards has planted a smile all over my face! The colourful neighbourhood: I want to move in immediately! Such a fabulous showcase of the new release. I’ve gone straight from wish list to wish novel!

  10. I love how you used colored cardstock for the houses from London mouse. And the interesting label background.
