Creative Construction with Blueprints: Blueprints Basics

Hi guys!

How are you doing? Happy to bring a little something to share with you today. A little card something that is.🙂

This card is the result of the latest Creative Construction with Blueprints challenge with the My Favorite Things Design Team.

We were challenges to pick a set of Blueprints Die-namics and coordinating sketches and put them to work.

As sweet Julie said, “Cards in a flash are the specialty of the Blueprints line and this month, we can all probably use a leg up in that regard! Our challenge this month is simple: create cards based on Blueprints sketches. Any Blueprints, any sketch. Simple choose the paper and let Blueprints do the rest of the work!”

So let me show what I’ve got.

Happy Birthday by Teri

Cha-cha!😉 So the base of this card was created with the Blueprints 21 Die-namics. For good measure, I threw in a few stars cut with the Stitched Star STAX Die-namics and the Happy word cut with the Brushstroke Birthday Greetings Die-namics.

I die-cut the rectangle and then I cut the circles right into it. One of the cool things about Blueprints 21 is there is a die with those circles in that wavy, circle arch. Love that. I don’t think I would have enough patience to line the circles up perfectly like that. Thank you, MFT, for making it easy!

For a complete list of supplies I used to make this card, be sure to check out the list below.

And totally swing by the MFT Stamps blog to see who else took on this challenge. I am always in amazement of what the gang cooks up.
