MFT Creative Challenge: 10 Minute Treats

Hi guys!

I’m challenging it up today with the My Favorite Things Design Team for the monthly Creative Challenge.

Creative Challenge

This month’s challenge this month is to create a quick, 10-minute gift!

Literally, this project would be a 10-minute project, if you recreated it!

It’s all about making the tag. I chose to tie my onto a tube of candy but you could go bigger, way  bigger. Imagine tying one like onto a big jar of sweets,  a bottle of wine or even a bag of candy canes.

The tag looks simple, but it took a few steps to make it. I cut out the small circle twice. Once I did it from patterned paper and once I did it from cardstock. Then I cut the large circle from red cardstock.

I took the white circle and cut the tree (from the Tag Builder Blueprints 2 Die-namics) into it. I laid all the circles together and popped a hole on top.

I finished the tag off with a sentiment from Lisa Johnson’s Trim the Tree stamp set. And I tossed on a few sequins.  I think those little details just made it a bit sweeter. Don’t you agree?
