Hello again!
Another day. Another take on the 14 (love cards) in 14 (days) challenge with Ashley.
Today’s card is a super inky one.
Played with the new Sketched Blooms set from My Favorite Things. Such a fun one.
Rather than using the solid shadows that come with the stamp set for the flower part of the flowers, I decided to do my own thing…. because I like to do that “own thing” thing.
I whipped out the Distressed Patterns set and stamped a couple of the patterns a couple times to make artsy’ish background. It’s kinda hard to tell but I used dye inks and lightly sprayed a little water over the patterns to make them super blotchy. Once the ink dried, I stamped on top with the flowers. By the way, I should confess that I did use the shadows for the leaves that comes with the flower set. Felt like they just needed something.
The words are from the I Love You More stamp set. It’s definitely one of my 2015 faves from MFT.
