Alright. Enough hop talk. Let’s get on with the project.

I had a chance to play with the brand new Fun & Flirty stamp set. That’s where the sentiment on this card comes from.

I also (cough, cough) played with the new Botanicals 2 dies. They coordinate with the popular Botanicals 2 stamp set. I am always one for untraditional and bold color combos so that’s what I went with here by using the green, blue and orange color combo. I think it looks kinda cool.

For good measure… and to bring everything together… I slapped on a couple sequins when I was about finished with the card. They are “almost” the same color as the the blue leaf, and I told myself that that was good enough today.

Alright! That’s what I have!

Thanks for stopping by and for leaving a comment. I always enjoy reading them. See you again soon!

  1. Love those bold colors and the print background, and the die cuts make a perfect “frame” for the sentiment and flowers.

  2. LOVE the colors and that sentiment too – just love Paper Smooches stuff and can’t wait to see the full release! Have Facebooked and Tweeted about this but…don’t have a blog!

  3. Love the green ink on green card stock, blue ink on blue card stock, orange ink on orange card stock, and the nontraditional mix of color all together!

  4. I think your colors look kind of cool too! I haven’t used a print background like that for a while. I like it and will use it soon.

  5. SQUEAL!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Your Card and the New Botanical 2 Dies!! SUPER FUN to use that Color Combo and I really LOVE the addition of the Sequins!! PERFECT finishing touch!! THANKS for sharing and have a FABULOUS WEEKEND!! =)

  6. One of my favorite things about your creations, Teri, is your use of color. You really do rock it & today’s no exception.

  7. SWEET card Teri 🙂
LOVE your PRETTY layers and design, YES, there is LOTS and LOTS to LOVE!!!
The sentiment is lovely, one I know I would use all year long!!!

  8. I’m a huge fan of stamping with a similar colored ink to the paper so I absolutely love how you used the Botanical stamps! Gorgeous! The layered shapes in the center are a fabulous backdrop for the sentiment and colored greenery. Fantastic use of the new PS products!

  9. Love your tone-on-tone effect with the botanicals. The non-trad colours are great. Also intrigued by the background paper. Is that a newspaper clipping? An old book? or just patterned paper?
