Mix It Up Challenge!

Hi guys!

Excited to be joining up with my good friends over at Ellen Hutson in helping kick off this month’s Mix It Up Challenge.

The challenge this month involves mixing up Essentials by Ellen products from Ellen Hutson  with…. drum roll please… Technique Tuesday products. I love mixing it up and dig both companies quite a lot. Getting to use their products together is right up my alley.

So here’s what I have got to share with you.

A handmade card by Teri // terisplace.wordpress.com

This card uses a couple different stamp sets. I used the Favorite Human set from Technique Tuesday and the Bokeh Dots and All Inside sets from Ellen Hutson. I also used the All Inside dies from Ellen Hutson and Heart Strings dies from Technique Tuesday.

To create that blue background, I simply sponged ink onto cardstock and then samped the scribbly circle with the Bokeh Dots set.

And those single hearts? They were cut from white cardstock. I simply sponged the same blue ink on them since I didn’t have a similar blue cardstock.

Alright so that is what I have for you. Be sure to check out the challenge post over in The CLASSroom. And be sure to play too.🙂 You’ll find all the deets over there. (Hint: One challenge participant will be chosen at random to score a $50 gift certificate from Ellen Hutson.)

50 Store Credit

That would be fun, right?🙂

Alright!  Be back later gators. Thanks for swinging by.

  1. Super sweet card. Love how you managed to keep the design CAS despite all the different elements you used. Also love the white and kraft combined with the soft blue.
