Today’s card (2-19)

Hi gang!

Back at it with another card to share.

Made this card a bit back for Technique Tuesday with their new Cheeky Chicken stamp set. Have you seen it? Some of the phrases are pretty dang funny. A few are bit edgy too.

Pretty simple card to make. I stamped the chicken over and over on cardstock. I stamped him one more time on white cardstock, fussy cut his little body out with my handy dandy scissors colored him in and plopped him on the blue paper. To give him a little extra pop, I used a light blue marker to add a little outline around his body. The idea was to draw the eye to him.

The sentiment circle came together like this:

  • Cut two circles. One smaller than other.
  • Stamp sentiment on smaller circle.
  • Plop smaller circle on larger circle. Call it good.
  • Have second thoughts.
  • Add a whole bunch of dots with your dependable friend, Nuvo Crystal Dots.
  • Raise your hands in victory!

Alright! That’s what I got, friends.

Thanks, as always, for stopping by! Oh, and please join me in celebrating the new 2018 Technique Tuesday Design Team! You’ll get to see this awesome crew every month as part of the Technique Tuesday’s brand new New Release Countdown, which will happen on the last 2 days of every month. There’s also three lovely ladies who serving as ambassadors (Tobi Crawford, Birgit Edblom and Jenn Brown) to Technique Tuesday and will be sharing projects on their blogs during the year.
