Technique Tuesday is kicking off the April Release countdown today by showing off some of the new products that will debut here on the 1st.
I’m going to share a couple projects today created with the first batch of goods they are showing off.
Meet card No. 1.
This one uses the new Tulip on the Border die. I “love” this die. A lot. It’s basically a die on a border that you can use on any card. (In fact, this is the latest in a series of border dies they’ve done.)
Here’s how they work: Open a card. Set the border on it. Cut the border. Let your imagination do the rest.
For this card, I left the card open and applied some sticky note tape to it to mask off part off part of the card. Then I applied some Oxide inks to it and a few splashes of water. After the water was dry, I added the sentiment (stamped with the new Flowers for Her set) and the Dragonfly (cut with the previously released, Dragonfly dies).
And meet card no. 2.
I created this one with the new Flowers for Her stamps and coordinating dies. This is a stamp set that features flowers I drew myself.
I was dreaming of a set with flowers that were open and could be colored in, since a lot of my crafty friends have been doing lots of coloring lately. The chief stamp makers at Technique Tuesday decided to give it a go. (Thanks, chief stamp makers, for letting it and making it happen.)
To give each of the flowers a little pop, I added a few Nuvo Crystal Drops in the middle of them. And the sentiment? The set features a bunch of words so you can create a sentiment appropriate for the woman or girl you want to send it to!
Alright! That’s all I have.
