Back again with another “just for fun” card to share today.
Meet today’s card.
I used some new stamps from the Fast Food Fun stamp set from Sunny Studio Stamps to make this card. The fries, burger, hot dog and words are from the set. It’s a quirky… and fun…. set. Love stamps make you giggle, and this set does that for me.
I just used my scissors to fussy cut the images for my card here. (Not every card has to be a masterpiece. Sometimes, I just want to play and simply enough the process and not focus on perfection.)
Colored the images in with markers and then added a little extra detail with some Nuvo Crystal Drops and a white gel pen.
I cut the hearts with a die from Paper Smooches. If you look really close, you’ll see I added a red Nuvo Crystal Drop dot to the middle of each one. Super subtle.
All the papers? They are random scraps from my stash, other than the white and gray one, which is from the cover of a pad of paper (a really, really old pad of paper) from Studio Calico.
Alright! That’s it for now. I’ll be back again later, gators. Thanks, as always, for bopping on by.
One last day of bunny cards for Ashley and I! It’s sure been fun to push each other to make some cards with these fun stamps.
Meet my latest take on the challenge.
I created the little scene of sorts by stamping a bunny from the Baby Party Animals set from Simon Says Stamp! I stamped it a second time on a sticky note and cut it out to make a mask. I plopped the mask onto top of my stamped bunny and stamped it two more times. I removed the mask and added the stamped hearts (also from the stamp set).
I also added the burst thingys, which are actually spots of water from Lawn Fawn’s Some Bunny stamp set. The sentiment, as well, was stamped with that set.
Alright! That’s all I have. I’ll be back later, gators. Don’t forget to check out Ashley’s blog for her latest take on the challenge.
See you again soon, friends.
Me again. Back for another day of super “hoppy” bunny card challenging with Ashley!
This is today’s card.
Another card heavy on patterned paper with just a little bit of stamping.
Here’s my thing. I LOVE (no wait… super duper-sized LOVE) cards that depict scenes. But sometimes I want a simple scene and not one that features a ton of stamped images. Sometimes, I just want a couple cute things to take the stage. So that’s what I was shooting for with this little guy.
I think he turned out pretty cute. The words and bunny are from Lawn Fawn’s Some Bunny stamp set. The carrots are from the Bunny Friends set from Pretty Pink Posh. And the little die-cut hearts? They were cut with dies from Paper Smooches.
The papers yet again came from my little tiny box of scraps. Always enjoy mixing and matching.
Alright! That’s all I have for you. I’ll be back again later, friends.
Thanks, as always, for hopping on by. Be sure check out Ashley’s blog to see her latest card too!
Just hoppy to be here again… for another take on the All the Bunnies Challenge with my pal, Ashley.
Meet today’s card.
I pulled out a bunny stamp (and flowers) from an older Simon Says Stamp! set called Melody’s Easter for this card. It had not seen any ink in some time. I made it a personal goal awhile back to show more love to my “less loved” stamps. So, yeah, this challenge made it seem like a good time to use it. Cut the bunny and flowers with the coordinating dies too.
I did some basic coloring with markers. A little blending but not too much. And to make the eyes stand out, I used some black Nuvo Crystal Drops. I “might” be addicted.
The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn’s Some Bunny stamp set. Lots of good words in that one for cards to make all year long.
By the way, the patterned papers are all from my scrap box, other than the white and gray one. That came from the top (errr… packaging?) of an old Studio Calico packet of papers. Always fun to do something a bit out of the box.
Alright! That’s all I have for you today. I’ll be back again on Thursday with another bunny card. Be sure to check out Ashley’s latest take on the challenge.
My pal, Ashley, and I are back at it with challenging each other to make cards. We thought it would be fun to do an “All the Bunnies” challenge since we both have been amassing a nice collection of bunny stamps. So here we are, at Day 1 of this new challenge.
Please give it up for today’s card.
Ta-da! This card was truly inspired by the bunny and rainbow, which I colored in a few weeks ago and was just holding onto for “just the right” project. Can you feel me?
The bunny, rainbow and flowers (and words) were all stamped with the Bunny Friends and Best of Luck stamp sets from Pretty Pink Posh. I also did the cutting with the coordinating dies from both sets.
To give the bunny a little extra personality, as well as a little texture, I colored him in with markers and then pounded on some extra dots with my markers. I also added a few additional dots to his belly with my pink Nuvo Crystal Dots. Just a fun little thing to do.
Those little black dots that create the faux circle of sorts around the stamping were also created with Nuvo Crystal Dots. I just love those little bottles of goodness.
Alright. That’s all I have. Be sure to swing by Ashley’s blog for her first take on this new challenge. I’m sure it will be spectacular! 🙂
Be back again tomorrow with another card for the All the Bunnies challenge. Because. Because why not?
Ps. Who is the winner of the $10 gift certificate from Topflight Stamps from my stop on the 1st birthday blog hop? That’s 3KidMama. Congrats! I’ve sent you an email!
Today’s the day! Technique Tuesday’s April release is live.
And I’m back today to share a planner spread I made with a couple of the new stamp sets.
This page was decorated (before ink) with both the Planner Beauty and Sassy Girl Thoughts stamp sets.
The planner set is all about… beauty…. and treating yourself. It’s perfect for planning those pampering days we all need (and those girls only days)!
This sentiment here is from the Sassy Girl Thoughts stamp set. I think it’s one of those sets that is perfect to use on cards and scrapbook pages, but it’s also got a place in a planner too. This phrase? Well, you know. Wink!
Alright! Be sure to hit the Technique Tuesday blog for links to all the projects the rest of the Design Team is sharing today. So. Many. Cool. Projects.
And be sure to swing by the Technique Tuesday website to see the whole release.
