Hi, gang!
Got a couple “Summer’ish” cards to share with you today.
These are the result of a late night “I just want to stamp something and play for the fun of all things in stamping fun” session. So, yeah, here we are.
Both cards use the Stay Golden by Julie Ebersole stamp set from Ellen Hutson. I pulled it out play with since it’s been in my stash for a quite awhile but hasn’t seen a lot of ink. Sad, I know. It felt like a good time to remedy that.
I inked up the solid pineapple base with two different colors of yellow ink before stamping it onto the card. Then I stamped it off, creating the second impression to the right. I used just one ink for the leafy crown and then stamped it off a second time to create the impression at the right.
Then I went to town, adding some flowers, the tiny pineapple, the pineapple outline and the words. Plus I added some extra details with Nuvo Crystal Drops, Washi tape and my old school sewing machine.
I used the small pineapple and the set’s medium pineapple on the second card. Again, I used two colors of yellow ink and stamped them off after I stamped the first time. I also added some stamped flowers and the sentiment.
Once again, I finished the card with some Nuvo Crystal Drops, Washi tape and machine stitching.
I wasn’t sure about this one as it came together, but I sure like the end result!
That’s it for today. I’ll be back again later, gators.
Super bright and fun Teri! Love this set!
