Hello again, friends!
Back with another card to share with you.
This is another card I made the other night “just for the fun of making something with stamps.”
I had this idea in the back of my head to create a sea of lifesavers so I stamped several lifesavers (with the Stay Salty by Julie Ebersole stamp set from Ellen Hutson) on cardstock with Archival Ink. Then I added the little stamped water patterns.
To color things in, I simply paired a waterbrush with Distress Oxide Inks from Ranger Ink. The cool thing with coloring with inks? It doesn’t really matter if you go out of the lines. It makes you like… artsy… and all.
After I did the coloring, I picked up some color with my brush and flicked it on the scene. Again. It make me feel artsy and all.
Now, confession time, I got kinda liberal with water as I added the color so my card warped. No problem-o, though! I cut the panel in half and plopped it on another card.
I finished it off with the stamped sentiment and a few drops of Nuvo Crystal Drops.
That’s it for now. Be back again later, gators!
