(Looking for my Sunny Studio Stamps Blog Hop post? Go here!)
Hi, guys!
The October release from Technique Tuesday is live, and I’m here to share a few more projects I created with the new goods.
Meet Card No. 1.
This one uses the new Christmas Lights Border die. The die was inspired by the lights in my String of Lights stamp set and is such that you can use the words in the stamp set with it.
This card took a little extra effort to put it together. That’s because I cut the die twice. Once was for the panel you see on the card. The second time was to make a stencil from cardstock that I used to add color to the lights, as well as the light’s cord.
It took awhile to put it together, but i think the results were totally worth it.
And meet Card No. 2.
This one uses the String of Lights stamp set. It’s another non-traditional color scheme.
I had so much fun playing with this stamp set as the bulbs are just really easy to color in with markers.
To give the cord a bit of pop, I added a few dots with Nuvo Crystal Drops. I just dig that stuff.
Alright! That’s all I have for you today. Don’t forget to stop by the Technique Tuesday blog to see who else from the design team is sharing projects today.
Love the ideas you came up with for this stamp and die set – which also means I’ve already ordered them ha ha!
Super cute, Teri!
Wonderful lights for lovely cards! 🙂
