Hi, guys!
I’m back with another card. It’s kinda… sorta… magical. 😉
Well, you know, in a unicorn sense. Wink.
Made this card the other day just for the fun of having fun after picking up the Unicorn Stamp & Cut set of stamps and dies from Hero Arts. Let me tell you the story about how the stamps came to live with me. It was World Card Making Day and, well, you know, one should treat themselves on that day. Because… it’s what us stampers do, right? Anyway, I saw the set and magically took a trip in time back to my second grade unicorn-obsessed self and was like, “Yeah. That’s fun. I need it.” And so the unicorns came to live with me.
Everything on this little card stamped with the stamp set. I thought it would be fun to make a herd of sorts of unicorns so I stamped and colored in three of them. I drew inspiration from my elementary school friend Jennifer’s My Little Pony collection (She had so many!) for the colors of the unicorns.
To give the card a little glitz and sparkle, I stamped some stars around the unicorns. I colored them in with a yellow pencil and then added a few drops of glitter glue. Now, the glitter glue I used was clear. The cool thing about it? It took on the yellow from my colored pencil. I also added a few clear drops of Glossy Accents to the scene, near the stars. There’s just something I love about the look of Glossy Accents drops. The hardest part about putting them on a card? Simple. Waiting for them to dry. But the end result is so, so worth it.
Alright. That’s all I have for you today, friends. I’ll be back again later in the week with a a few more cards to share with you. Hope you’ll stop by.
