Welp! We made it to day 14 of the 14 (love cards) in 14 days challenge with Ashley. That was fast and fun!
Meet card #14.
I once again whipped out some older stuff from Fancy Pants Designs. All of it from the same collection. All featuring an interesting mixture of soft and sweet designs with super graphic stuff.
Once again, I mostly used stickers and paper… with a couple staples for good measure.
Thanks for tuning in these last few days. Hope you have enjoyed the love fest. 🙂 Be sure to hit Ashley’s blog to see her take on the last day of the 14 in 14 challenge.
See you again soon.
Another day. Another 14 in 14 card.
Meet today’s love-themed card.
Felt good to make this one and use some of the goods on it. They are from a packet of Fancy Pants goodness I’ve had sitting around here for a long time.
The card is pretty much just a bunch of stickers and patterned paper tossed together, plus a couple staples… for good measure. 😉
Fun to use it all though!
Be sure to stop by Ashley’s blog to see her take on the challenge today. Hard to believe we are almost to the end.
Be back tomorrow.
Me again. Another love card for the 14 in 14 challenge with Ashley to share with you today.
(Insert dramatic music.)
Feeling a bit sassy again today as I made this one. 🙂 The “hey you” sticker is from a pack stickers for the Happy Planner from Me & My Big Ideas. I felt like it was just screaming for that “for real” sticker (from Bella Blvd) to be added to it… and so I did.
The black strips at the edge of the card are super fancy. It’s a bit hard to tell from the picture, but they are all glittery. They were made a piece of glittery tape from Heidi Swapp. I just cut the strip in half (vertically). Put the two pieces on the card and then slapped the patterned paper on top.
Alright! That’s what I have got.
Be sure to stop by Ashley’s blog to see what she has for you today.
Thanks for stopping by. Be back later, gators.
We meet again. Almost to the end of the 14 (love cards) in 14 (days) challenge with Ashley. Well, technically, it’s 15 days since we decided to take a break yesterday, but it just doesn’t have the same ring to it. So yeah, we’re still calling it 14 in 14.
Today’s card is clean and graphic and was a quick one to make.
I used a die from Simon Says Stamp! that I think is one of the coolest dies I’ve seen in a long time. The Heart Breeze die embosses stitch lines but also cuts out the hearts and small circles at the same time. Genius, I tell you!
To give it a little extra something, I used a white pen to add some additional dots to the design. I think it just kind of adds a little pop to take the card from cool to coolio. No, guys, not that Coolio. Although I am a fan of that Coolio. Hello, karaoke! 🙂
The letter stickers are just some old stickers I had lying around. It was fun to put them to use. I’ve got to challenge myself to do that again.
Be sure to stop by Ashley’s blog to see what she is sharing today! And I’ll be back again tomorrow. Hope to see you then.
Well, we’re getting there. It’s Day 10 of the 14 (love) cards in 14 (days) challenge with my pal, Ashley.
Got another card to share with you. I haven’t tuckered out yet…. well, so far. Hope you have been enjoying these cards as I’ve enjoyed making them.
Just a bunch of things I had laying in my pile of craft supplies that I whipped together to make this guy.
I wanted to be a little playful with this one so I added the Goofball sticker (from Bella Blvd.) to the sentiment. Thought it might be a fun card to send to a friend for Valentine’s Day or as a just because card to just remind her that she’s pretty spiffy.
Not much else to say. So be sure to pop on by Ashley’s blog to see her take on today’s challenge.
I’ll be back in a bit with the monthly Paper Smooches Design Team blog hop!
PS. I was up on the Simple Stories blog on Wednesday with some birthday cards. This was my last post as a Simple Stories Design Team member. Hope you will check it out.
Here’s a small sneak peek.
It’s me, and guess what? Yep. Got another 14 (cards) in 14 (days) challenge card to share with you.
This is today’s love-themed card.
Just a simple one that’s a bit on the shabby side. Pulled together a bunch of different patterned paper scraps, as well as some really old chipboard hearts, tags and flowers (and corners) from Crate Paper. Remember the card I shared a couple days ago with chipboard from Crate Paper? These are from the same really, really, really old sheet of chipboard stickers. 😉 I’m kind of the mindset to “leave no cute thing behind.”
Once again, I whipped out the Love You So by Julie Ebersole stamp set from Ellen Hutson to stamp set to stamp my sentiment. Just dig that set… a lot.
That does it for today.
Be sure to stop by Ashley’s blog. I’m sure she’s got some awesome based on our challenge to share with you. See you again tomorrow.
Back again with one more take on the 14 (love cards) in 14 (days) challenge with Ashley.
I went all friendship-y today… because you gotta show your friends love too. Ya know? 😉
I went pretty non-traditional too, mostly using supplies with non-traditional love colors from Echo Park Paper’s Best Friends Forever Mini Theme Kit. It’s just a fun little kit with paper and stickers with a friendship theme.
I mixed together a couple of the papers. I took one big piece of paper with circles on it and punched the heck-o-la out of it with a circle punch to make those big circles to put on my card. And then I just went kinda crazy with stickers and did a bit of clustering. For good measure, I added a few sequins and a stitch line…. and a few other little things.
I think it turned out pretty fun!

Another day. Another take on the 14 in 14 challenge with Ashley.
Meet today’s love-themed card.
Just had some fun today, whipping out some new to me (but totally hidden in my stash for a really, really, really long time) chipboard stickers from Crate Paper. Yep. The frame, the lips, the heart and the mustache are from that really, really, really old piece of chipboard.
The papers are from Pebbles and Crate Paper. And the words? They are from the Love You So by Julie Ebersole stamp set from Ellen Hutson. So many good phrases in that one.
A little trick for you. I stamped the words before I added the chipboard stuff, although I figured out where I wanted it all first. Since I put some foam adhesive under the lips and mustache to elevate them, I was worried about getting ink on my block and accidentally touching them… so stamp first and adhere later.
So that’s what I have for you today. Be sure to stop by Ashley’s blog to see her take today on the challenge.
Another day. Another take on the 14 (love cards) in 14 (days) challenge with Ashley.
Today’s card is a super inky one.
Played with the new Sketched Blooms set from My Favorite Things. Such a fun one.
Rather than using the solid shadows that come with the stamp set for the flower part of the flowers, I decided to do my own thing…. because I like to do that “own thing” thing.
I whipped out the Distressed Patterns set and stamped a couple of the patterns a couple times to make artsy’ish background. It’s kinda hard to tell but I used dye inks and lightly sprayed a little water over the patterns to make them super blotchy. Once the ink dried, I stamped on top with the flowers. By the way, I should confess that I did use the shadows for the leaves that comes with the flower set. Felt like they just needed something.
The words are from the I Love You More stamp set. It’s definitely one of my 2015 faves from MFT.
Alright! That’s what I have.
Swing by Ashley’s blog to see what she did for the challenge! Be back tomorrow.
We meet again!
I’m here with another loved-themed card in the 14 in 14 challenge with my pal, Ashley!
Today’s card is a graphic one that uses some stuff that’s been in my stash for
a long time. 😉
The hexagon, arrows and words are from an old retired stamp set from Studio Calico and Hero Arts. I started out by stamping the words on a journaling card (also from Studio Calico from forever ago… or many years ago) and then stamping the hexagons and arrows around it.
To give the hexagons a little pop, I drew a black line over a couple of them with a black pen. Might say I was too lazy to turn my sewing machine one so I improvised. 😉 And then I added some enamel dots and the puffy heart sticker.
The base of the card is just a good old piece of plain white cardstock folded in half.
Excited to see Ashley’s take on today’s challenge. Be sure to swing by her blog too.
Be back tomorrow.
