Hi, guys! Bet you didn’t think you’d see me back again today. Still playing along with the latest Coffee Loving Card Makers Blog Hop and made one more card to share.
Pretty simple but super fun to make. I had stamped a couple extra cups and accessories with the Thanks a Latte set from Lawn Fawn last time I used it. Had this cup and marshmallows sitting on my desk from that and decided to color them in and make a card.
And, so yeah, this card is the result of that effort!
I once again used a Paper Smooches stencil to make the background. This time, though, I took a Lawn Fawn die and die-cut the window out of it.
I could have easily used a white card base but decided to “live on the edge” and use a kraft one instead. (Wink, wink!)
That’s it for me. Hoping to get one more card completed before the hop ends. Still feeling lots of inspiration but not sure time will allow it.Fingers crossed!
Again, don’t forget to check out all the hop links. So many fun cards have been made. It’s just so cool to see stampers come together, create and share so, so much!
Pretty simple card with here. Just used images from one stamp set (Lawn Fawn’s Thanks a Latte) on it, as well as the words. I simply colored the images in with markers and avoiding doing any really fancy techniques, other than doing some basic shading.
Created the background paper with a stencil from Paper Smooches. (Sure do miss PS, but I digress!) A little bit of ink and a little bit of cardstock… and woolah! A background paper!
Added a few little extra details to the card with pens (see the faux stitching) and puffy paint.
That’s all I got. I’ll be back again later. By the way, don’t forget to swing by the hop’s link up page to see all the great projects shared so far. So cool to see how so many crafters are inspired!
This card isn’t the fanciest, but it’s ok with me. Some days, it’s nice just to make a card quickly, allowing one to getting lost in the creative process (and checking out from life for a few minutes) while doing it. So, with that, meet today’s card.
I enjoyed making this one as I whipped out the little toucans (from Lawn Fawn) that I’ve had for a long while but haven’t inked up a bunch. Then I paired them with a few other Lawn Fawn images to make the little “drinking” scene. (To give the scene just a bit of glitz, by the way, I added some flitter to the cups, as well as the hearts.)
Then, I just built the rest of the card using scraps of paper to make background. I again pulled together a few different Lawn Fawn sentiment stamps to make the sentiment for the card.
Alrighty! That’s it. Such a short post… but a post. 🙂 I’ll be back again later. Thank you, as always, for stopping by.
And don’t forget to check out the hop. So many great cards have been shared already!
Hi, everyone! Super stoked to see it’s time again for the Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers hop. Challenging myself to make some cards for the hop this time. Really, actually challenging myself to dig into my stash and place! Taking part in the hop adds to it!
Anyway, here’s my first card inspired by the hop!
Just had fun here, pulling out a bunch of different Lawn Fawn stamp sets and mixing them together. Cocoa cups from one set. Owl stamps from another. A tree from another. You know, you get the picture.
I originally planned cover card with a lot of blue cardstock but it seemed like too much. So I just took the panel I stamped the snowflakes on and cut a squiggly hill with my scissors. The owls hid a lot of it, but you’ll see it if you look close enough.
The sentiment was put together by putting together stamps from a couple different Lawn Fawn sets as well. Always loving mixing and matching stamps.
That’s all I have for now. Be sure to check out the hop. So many cards are added throughout it. Always fun to see what everyone makes. The hop, by the way, runs through the 13th.
See you again real soon! Thanks, as always, for buzzing on by. It’s a latte fun when you do. (Wink!)
Hi, all! Super happy to be joining some of my favorite crafters in celebrating the latest release from Hero Arts. The Winter release is amazing, and I’m just tickled to be sharing a few cards made with the new goods.

So let’s get to it. I have four (!!!) projects to share with you, plus quite a lot to say! (Wink, wink!)
Each of my projects use the new Love Ornament Fancy Die. Hero Arts included several cool ornament dies in the new release. I picked one for today’s post and challenged myself to show several ways to use it. (Pressure. Is. On.Let’s do this.)
The Traditional Ornament Cards
Meet card no. 1.
For this card, I created a simple shaker with the die. I paired it with a circle die to cut a window from a transparency, as well as the white background of the shaker.
I was kinda fancy with the shaker’s beads, only putting green seed beads above the word and red ones below it.
And meet card no. 2.
I once again created a shaker card. This time, though, you can see the inside of the card. Say what? How...
Here’s what I did. I created the background with the Circle Pattern stamp and then I temporarily adhered it to my card. I opened the card up, set a circle die on it and then ran it through my die-cutting machine, which created a circle window. I removed the stamped panel. I placed vellum on the card and permanently adhered the circle panel to the card. Easy peasy, although looking back at what I just wrote, it sounds way more (way, way, way more) complicated than it was.
Then I built the ornament shaker, using the vellum window opening as the shaker base. Again, it’s really cool to see the inside of the card with this one.
Even though these cards were made different, they have a similar feel about them. They look pretty cool next to each other too.
A Stamped Card Made With the Die
Ok, so let’s just jump to card no. 3.
I really wanted to stamp something under the “love” word so that’s what I did here. I stamped the images with the new Cozy Town set (plus a few hearts and a “sending” word from the previously released Acts of Kindness set) on a circle of cardstock.
Now, let’s just slow down for a minute and be real, real as can be. I could have just used the circle as it was and stacked several love words on top. No, friends. Why do it the easy way, Teri? Get ready for this. I got all complicated and die-cut the image with the love word and then did some tedious inlaid die-cutting/assembly work. Learn from me. Maybe do it the easy way.
I felt like this card could easily be used as a holiday card or a “just thinking of you” kind of card so I purposely did not use the ornament hanger with the “love” ornament. I wanted to have the option to send this card whenever I felt like it…. late November, December or February or March… or whenever!
A Thinking of You Card
Moving on. We’ve made it to card no. 4. Hope you are still with me.
I wanted to simply make a card with the Love Ornament die that had no holiday or winter feel to it at all. None! So I made this quick “thinking of you” card.
I simply cut the ornament from cardstock and then used my markers to add color.
This design was really easy to pull off and would be easy to recreate. I could see changing up the coloring scheme and adding some hearts to the design to mass produce some Valentine’s Day cards.
Alright! So that is it for this stop on the blog hop! I hope you have enjoyed the cards. Don’t forget that the next stop on the hop is the blog ofWanda Guess. Plus you’ll find all the blog hoppers on the Hero Arts blog.

Alright! So let’s get on with the project!
Created this card with the new Rainbow Sherbet dies. I cut a line in the typewriter and then cut a piece of cardstock to fit in it so it would like the sentiment really was typed.
The words are from a couple different stamp sets: Noteworthy and Delightful Greetings. They were part of larger sentiments so I did a little masking by covering up the unneeded words with washi tape while I inked the stamps.
The papers on the card are also from Paper Smooches. They are from the previously released Rainbow Sherbet paper pack. I really like the color combo.
Alright. That’s it for me. I’ll be back later, friends. Thanks for hopping today and stopping by my blog-a-roo!

Enough chat about the hop!
Let’s see the card!
I created this card using several new products: the Thinking of You die; the Sunflower die; and the Savvy Stencil. I also used the “friend” word from the Delightful Greetings stamp set.
I added the patterns the back of the card with a little ink and the stencil. To create the flower, I die-cut it from white cardstock. I then used a bunch of markers to add color to it. To borrow a phrase from my friend, Kathy, I “color plucked” from my basket of markers, meaning I just grabbed Copic markers that looked good rather than follow any numeric formula for color blending.
To give the sentiment a little extra pop, I used white Nuvo Crystal Drops to add a few dots to the words. I like the subtle texture.
Alright! That is it for me. Thanks so much for taking part in today’s hop… and leaving your kinds words! It’s always such a treat!
Back again with another caffeine-inspired card. Super happy to be linking it up the latest Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop too! (So many great projects have been shared so far! Great job everyone!)
Created this card with the Caffeinated stamp set from Paper Smooches. I had colored in the tea glass and little fellas a bit back, but I never used on a project. Totally inspired by the hop to pull them out and put them on a card.
The patterned papers are from my big old box of scraps. Anyone else out there still keep a box of paper scraps? I honestly can’t remember the last time I picked up much new patterned paper. Have so much older stuff (but still dang good) stuff to use.
Oh and the sentiment! Created the custom sentiment by mixing together words from the Caffeinated set and the Caffeinated Two set.
Alright! That is it for me! Hope you enjoyed checking out my card! Don’t forget to check out ALL the awesome cards uploaded to the hop. So, so many good ones!

OK! So let’s get on with the project.
I had a super strong desire to create a Harry Potter-inspired card so I stamped the glassed on the Boba Tea cup (all from the Caffeinated stamp set). Then I used a black pen to draw a mark like Harry’s onto the top of the glass.
I didn’t have a wand stamp, but there are some super cute stars in the So Fairy Cute stamp set. I stamped a whole bunch of those to add the “magical” feeling of the card.
The sentiment was created by pairing the “bobalicious” word from the Caffeinated Two stamp set with the “you are” from one of the stamps in the Caffeinated set.
Anyway, thought it turned out pretty fun! Looking forward to sending this card to one of my friends.
Alright! That’s it for today. Thanks again, friends, for stopping by. I always appreciate your kind words. See you again real soon.
