Rainbows… Lots of Rainbows

Hi, friends!

I’ve got something fun over on the blog for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. What you ask? It’s an easy way to make your own rainbow with yarn!

I had been thinking about this project for awhile, wanting to make a rainbow. I had made a few with yarn and rope, but I found my rainbows didn’t always keep their form when I adhered them. So I brainstormed and hit the hardware store, where I found… wait for it… vinyl piping! It’s the perfect material for making a rainbow that keeps it’s form!

I’d love for you check out the post. You’ll see exactly how I made this rainbow, as well as the piping, adhesive and other materials I used.

Be back again soon!

A Little Something Decor’ish

Hi, gang!

I’m bringing a little something home decor’ish to the blog today.

I had the chance to attend Art Impressions’ Warehouse Sale last year and picked up a pack of some printed Pop-Ups elements they had for cards. I pulled them out the other day to make a card and decided to do something different.

I have a few “hair” ladies in my life who I thought would get a good kick out of them so I made this little frame with the Pop-Ups.

The images just cracked me up!

Since I used lots of Crafty Foam Tape to piece the parts together, I removed the glass from the frame. I really wanted the bulk and pop to be there.

I simply made a little mat of cardstock and patterned paper and added all the elements to it.

To give them even more pop, I added some Glossy Accents, glitter glue and Nuvo Crystal Drops to the cut-outs.hairframe3

I like how the little details just add a little something. 🙂

Hopefully, the hair ladies in my life will enjoy this as much as me.

Thanks for stopping by.

Easy Stamped Bookmarks for Your Favorite Readers

Hi, guys!

I’m up on the blog for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L today, sharing the scoop on how to make some fun tag bookmarks.

DIY stamped bookmarks by Teri for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

These tag bookmarks are really, really, really easy to make with their Self-Laminating Pouches.

I really wanted to use some cute stamps I had from My Favorite Things to decorate my bookmarks, but you’ll see this little project could be created with stamps from pretty much anyone out there… or stickers… or die-cuts. And it’s a craft that could do… or you could easily make with a child.

Be sure to check out the post! I’d be tickled if you would.

And thanks, as always, for stopping by my little spot on the web. I sure appreciate your visits.
