Gift Card Pockets for Everything!

Hi, guys!

Looking for a quick way to spruce up the next gift card you give out? I’d like to introduce you to my Colorful Gift Card Pockets!

TeriAnderson-ColorfulGiftCardPockets-1

These little pockets are super easy to make, plus they’d work for giving away some cold hard cash too. They are also a fun way to use up some of those patterned paper scraps (or gigantic mountain of not-quite-used patterned paper because you are addicted, like me) you might have laying around.

I’ve got a quick tutorial on how to make them (including DIMENSIONS for the base) over the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L blog today. Please check it out, and, maybe, just maybe, make a gift card pocket of your own. I tell you, it’s so easy

Technique Tuesday Release Day!

New-Release-Countdown-Release-Day

Hi, guys!

It’s Release Day at Technique Tuesday and I’m excited to share with you a couple new projects created with the Berry Basket dies (and some of the other new products).

A stamped card by Teri | terisplace.wordpress.com

This first card is a simple card created with the dies, as well as the Sweet Summertime stamps and dies, Cool and Sweet Words dies and Jam Jar Labels dies.

I first created the basket first and then I added the stamped and die-cut fruit to it.

The sentiment was created by combining together words from the Sweet Summertime stamp set with a die-cut word from the Cool & Sweet Words dies.

The second project I’m sharing today uses the Berry Basket dies in a non-traditional way. I made a pocket with them for a gift card and added the basket to a tag.

I really wanted to use the sentiment (from the Silly Fruits stamp set) on the basket so I used stamped and die-cut a couple pineapples from the Sweet Summertime set to tuck into the basket as well. I think it turned out fun!

Alright! That’s all I have for you today. Be sure to hit the Technique Tuesday blog to see who else from the design team is sharing projects today. You’ll also want to check out the New Products page on the Technique Tuesday website to see all the new goods.

Be back again later, gators.

Hi guys!

Super tickled to be contributing a couple tags to Tracey McNeeley’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags festivities today! What is 25 days of Christmas Tags, you ask? Simple. It’s a literally a 25-day event of tag inspiration. Every. Single. Day. For 25 days. Tags, tags and more handmade cards.

Today, Tracey’s highlighting tags made with products from Technique Tuesday.¬† You know me. I have a soft spot for TT. (Wink!)

The images on both of these tags came from a planner stamp set I designed for Technique Tuesday called Planner – Christmas Doodles. They are all hand drawn little doodles for Christmas that work in a planner, but also work pretty great to make tags and cards too.

I basically just stamped a bunch of washi strips and a bunch of flags, added a little color with markers and the fussy cut them out with my scissors. The extra white detailing was pulled off with the help of a white gel pen.

The words on my tags are from the Classic Christmas Sentiments stamp set, but TT has a bunch of Christmas themed stamps with phrases that would have worked well for these tags. The little toppers at the top of my two tags were cut with the Tag Toppers dies.

Alright! That’s all I have. Be back later, friends. Thanks, as always, for stopping by.
