Today’s card… no, layout (5-4)

Hi guys!

Sharing a layout, not a card, I created with Sassy Camera, a new stamp set I designed for Technique Tuesday that comes out today in honor of National Scrapbook Day.

First, before I talk about the layout, let me give A HUGE thank you to Heather Hoffman, who kindly provided the picture I used on this layout. It’s such a fun picture that was taken while she and her friends were at Creativation this year.  (Thank you, guys.)

So about the layout. I stamped all the phrases, cameras and photo frames with the stamp set. Oh, and the stars too! I also used the coordinating dies, which went on sale today too.

The layout’s background was created by just mixing together a bunch of patterned paper scraps with cardstock, plus some washi tape.  You’ll see that washi tape in the top corner of the picture. There were also a few dots added to the layout with Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Oh and that text on the picture? I went old school, pulling out letters from my stash of letter stickers and label tape.

If you think you might like to own the Sassy Camera stamp set, it’s a good weekend to snatch it up. You can get it for free through Sunday when you make a $30 or more purchase through TT’s website. This graphic has the scoop on how to get the set for free.

Alright! See you again soon, friends.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy National Scrapbook Day! (5-3)

Hi all!

Happy National Scrapbook Day! I’ve been looking forward to today because I can finally share this scrapbook page I recently cooked up.2_NSD_ThisMemory_teri

Totally goofy but fun, right?

Made this one mostly with a new stamp set I designed for Technique Tuesday that’s called Scrapbook It. They released it today in honor of National Scrapbook Day.

(By the way, they have a special offer today (5/3… until midnight PST). Spend $30 or more on Use coupon code FREE4NSD at check-out and they’ll include the Scrapbook It stamp set for free with your order. (It’s normally a $14.99 set.). No need to include the set in your cart. Just use the coupon code and the magic will happen.)

Going back to the page, I stamped on the cards (mostly from Project Life) with stamps from Scrapbook It and from No Picture (another TT set I designed).

I also added a few words to the stamping with the help of my trusty typewriter and a little bit of old fashioned handwriting. It was kinda fun!

So that’s all I have! I’ll be back later, gators.

PS. Be sure to check out Moxie Fab World and the Creating Keepsakes blog today. I have it on a good authority that there’s some National Scrapbook Day festivities happening in both places.

(eta: There’s a couple Scrapbook It stamp sets up for grabs. You’ll find one on this post on the CK Blog. Hurry. You only have until 5 p.m. MDT on 5/3 to comment. And there’s one on this post on Moxie Fab World. You have until midnight EST on Monday, May 5th, to comment there.)
