Hooray! It’s Release Day at Technique Tuesday. You’ll find all their new stamps and dies right here.
I’ve got 2 projects to share with you today that I made with the brand new 365 Days stamp set from their Memory Keeper Studio collection.
This stamp set was made with scrapbookers in mind, but it’s also pretty great for making cards. I created the background paper for their birthday card by repeatedly stamping one of the phrases in the set (that just seemed birthday friendly) over and over on cardstock.
The little brackets were stamped with a stamp from the set too. There’s a few decorative brackets in the set, btw.
And I made this page with the stamp set. (This picture is one provided to me by Bev from TT. It’s her friends’ sweet little pups.)
One of the things I think is pretty great about this stamp set is that you can use it to record your goals and dreams, as well as transitions in your life. It’s also got some nice stamps that are just great for documenting everyday life, like the “Today is a Gift” phrase.
Alrighty! That’s what I have for you.
I’ll be back again later. Don’t forget to stop by the Technique Tuesday blog for a completely list of design team members who are blog hopping today.
Thanks, as always, for stopping by.
I’m back with another Technique Tuesday project. This time, my project is in honor of their September release that is on sale now.
Today’s project is not a card. Nope. It’s layout. 🙂
Created this one specifically for Technique Tuesday. The folks in the picture are some friends of TT, who were kind enough to let me to use the picture on the layout.
I created the little labels with the new Things Change stamp set. It’s a cool stamp set for scrapbooking as it features lots of memory keeping-like phrases.
And the words fit nice with the previously released Captions and Labels dies.
Besides the stamps and the Captions and Labels dies, I also used the new Amazing Arrows dies to add some arrows to my page here. The arrows were cut from white cardstock and then I just used a marker to change their color so they’d work with the color scheme on my scrapbook page. I’m excited to use those dies more in the future on other projects.
Alright! That’s it for today.
Be sure to hit the Technique Tuesday blog to find links to all the TT Design Team members sharing projects today. Also be sure to hit this page on the TT website to see all the new products.
Sharing a layout, not a card, I created with Sassy Camera, a new stamp set I designed for Technique Tuesday that comes out today in honor of National Scrapbook Day.
First, before I talk about the layout, let me give A HUGE thank you to Heather Hoffman, who kindly provided the picture I used on this layout. It’s such a fun picture that was taken while she and her friends were at Creativation this year. (Thank you, guys.)
So about the layout. I stamped all the phrases, cameras and photo frames with the stamp set. Oh, and the stars too! I also used the coordinating dies, which went on sale today too.
The layout’s background was created by just mixing together a bunch of patterned paper scraps with cardstock, plus some washi tape. You’ll see that washi tape in the top corner of the picture. There were also a few dots added to the layout with Nuvo Crystal Drops.
Oh and that text on the picture? I went old school, pulling out letters from my stash of letter stickers and label tape.
If you think you might like to own the Sassy Camera stamp set, it’s a good weekend to snatch it up. You can get it for free through Sunday when you make a $30 or more purchase through TT’s website. This graphic has the scoop on how to get the set for free.
Alright! See you again soon, friends.
Thanks for stopping by.
(Please note this is my second blog post of the day! You can find my Blooming Technique Tuesday Blog Hop post below this one. )
Well, it’s a fun day here! That’s because… finally… I can share a few projects I made for ScrapbookSteals, which is a great site for scrapbook supplies at a deal!
Kristy, one of my favorite people in the world and the blog hostess with the most’est at ScrapbookSteals, invited me awhile back to guest design for them. Lucky for me, and double lucky for me that I got to play with the Country Picnic collection from Pebbles, Inc.
It’s a totally card friendly collection so I just went to town making card after card.
Here’s a peek of the
8 million… er… many… cards I made with today’s steal.
Here’s a couple of the cards from the pile.
To see the rest of the cards I made with the Country Picnic collection, head to the ScrapbookSteals blog.
And to take advantage of the Country Picnic steal (Know that it won’t last long!), go to this page here.
See you again soon!
