It’s Release Day at Technique Tuesday, and I’ve got a new card created with new stuff to share with you. (<—-Say that new thing ten times fast.)
Meet today’s card.
Created this bad boy with a couple new products from Technique Tuesday, the Cool Tools dies and the What a Guy stamp set. (You’ll see them and all the other new goods here.)
I cut the tools from white cardstock and then used my markers to add color to them. And then I assembled them together for the card.
I created my background for the card with various scraps of patterned paper from my shoebox of scraps.
The sentiment? It hails from the What a Guy stamp set. I think any old sentiment that is guy-worthy would work with this card. (Or maybe a girl-sentiment would work for a tool loving DIY girl!)
Alright! That’s what I have. Be sure to check out the Technique Tuesday blog for links to all the other Design Team members sharing projects created with the new goods today. So much good stuff!
March 1st means the new release at Technique Tuesday is live. You’ll find all the new goods right here.
And I’m sharing a project today created with a couple of the new products.
Created this little dude with the new Gertie & Garth Goat stamps and coordinating dies.
I just had fun with this card by stamping several elements from the stamp set, cutting them with the dies and the coloring them in with my trusty old markers.
Created the little scene by pairing everything together. Rather than letting the goat, cans and flowers “float” in the air, I used a cosmetic sponge to sponge a little black ink onto the card. It’s just a simple little thing to do, but it’s a great way to “ground” your stamped images.
You might be wondering about the label. That’s was cut with Technique Tuesday’s Retro Labels dies. I cut it, stamped the image on it and then added a little pop with some foam tape. I always like adding a little extra dimension with foam adhesives.
Alrighty! That’s what I have. Be sure to swing by the Technique Tuesday blog for a list of all the other TT Design Team members sharing projects today. You’ll also find links to their blogs.
Back again with the Technique Tuesday crew. We are working our way to the March release!
I’ve got a couple cards to share with you.
Both cards feature the new Sassy Love Your Guts stamps and coordinating dies. They are the latest addition in TT’s Sassy Sentiments collection of products and debut officially on March 1st.
I couldn’t resist making something with the cat and dog in the stamp set and so I did. I stamped them and colored them in with my trusty markers, and then I used the dies to cut them out.
The sentiment is also from the stamp set. I did use a pen to write in “fur kids” and draw the arrow.
This next card also uses the stamp set and dies.
For this card, I stamped and die-cut three jellyfish. I colored them in with markers.
I sponged blue ink onto a cardstock circle, added some drops with Glossy Accents and added the jellyfish.
The envelope was pre-made. I had stamped the words on it, and then I stamped some words onto a tag I made to fit in the envelope.
Turned out pretty fun!
You’ll find the Sassy Love Your Gut stamp set and dies on the New Products page on the Technique Tuesday website on the 1st.
And you’ll find a list of all the other Technique Tuesday Design Team members sharing projects today on the Technique Tuesday blog. Prepare to be amazed. So many cool things. Yep. I might have peeked. 😉
I’m joining the Technique Tuesday gang today in sharing a project made with some goods from the March release.
The new release debuts on March 1st on their website. You can see a few of the new products today on their blog. You’ll also find links to all the other design team members sharing projects today!
I used a couple new products for this guy.
I created the heart with the new Pieces of my Heart die. I cut three hearts from cardstock (red, pink and white). I mounted the pink and the red ones together, and then cut a puzzle piece from the white one and added it to the top. I finished it by adding a small heart covered with glitter glue on top. (The little heart was cut with TT’s Nested Hearts dies).
The sentiment I used is from the Love You to Pieces stamp set, which debuts on the 1st along with the Pieces of my Heart die.
It’s good for cards and scrapbook pages. And I’m sure you could come up with a bunch of other uses for it too! It’s packed with lots of great words.
Look for all of Technique Tuesday’s new products to debut on the 1st. You’ll find them in the New Products category on their website.
And, once again, be sure to hit the Technique Tuesday blog for links to the blogs of all the other TT Design Team members sharing projects today.
See you again tomorrow with another project made with some March release products!
Just stopping by to share a card today that was over the one Paper Smooches blog last week.
Truly, I think I smiled the entire time I was making this little card.
The fruits are all from the Fruitastic stamp set, an oldie but still seriously cool goodie from PS. The cart was cut with their Grocery Cart die, which is on sale right now for a killer price of $5.
I was feeling a bit adventurous when I made this card. Rather than using my Copic markers, I used some Spectrum Noir markers I inherited to do the coloring. Not like there’s much of a difference with alcohol ink based markers, but there is a curve figuring out what markers blend together in a way that makes you happy, you know. 🙂
To finish out my little scene, I added a few hearts (cut with a Paper Smooches die), as well as a few sequins and dots (made with Nuvo Crystal Dots…. I’m an addict. I can’t stop. Heehee!)
Alright! I’m totally out of things to say so that’s all I got. Keeping it real. That’s me. (Wink!)
Thanks for stopping by, guys!

I built the scene with Paper Smooches’ Reflections stamp set, as well at the Reflections dies and Paper die. (Special note to my friend, Perrie, I know! I didn’t fussy cut! Shocking! Hee!)
So that’s all I have! I’ll be back again soon!
