Giveaway Time

Calling one. Calling all.

I’ve got some slightly used stamps that are desperately in need of a good home, and I’d like to give them to one of you.

As you may have heard, Technique Tuesday and Ali Edwards recently ended their business relationship. Technique Tuesday ended the Studio AE program  and launched two brand new monthly auto-ship programs –  Memory Keepers Studio  (stamps) and Fresh Cut Studio (steel dies). And Ali  is launching a new venture too.

I have loved working with Ali’s stamps. But in order to keep my TT stash of stamps manageable, I went through my stash and pulled out a few of  my Studio AE sets to give away today. (Most of these stamps are no longer available… and those that are, won’t be for long. Technique Tuesday is no longer manufacturing any Ali stamps.)

I’m hoping one of you will give these stamps the crafty love they deserve. (And… ok… before anyone gasps…. don’t worry! I’m not getting rid of all my Ali stamps! I’ve still got tons more in my stash, but I haven’t used these ones in awhile so I felt it was a good time to pass them onto someone who will use them. 🙂 )

1_StudioAEGiveaway_terisplacewordpresscom

So here’s what is in the stash:

Please note that I used all of these stamps to create sample projects  for the Studio AE program for Technique Tuesday. These stamps have been all been used. Some sets were inked up more than others. A couple of these stamps are early versions of the stamp sets so they lack printing on the packaging. Most of these stamps were available for only a very limited time.

And here’s a little extra fine print.  My only request is that whoever wins these stamps not sell them. If  you won’t use any of these stamps or they are duplicates of stamps you own, please just pass them onto a crafty friend or two. Please share the love.

So if you are still interested, please leave a comment on my post by midnight EST on Tuesday (the 8/26). I’ll pick one of you to score the goods. Yes, the winner will get all nine stamp sets. (And please note  the winner must take them all. No exceptions. Sorry. )

Good luck!

Here’s card #1.

sae_july14_dreambig_teri

Besides Ali’s stamp set, I also used a couple Technique Tuesday dies — Photo Frame and Nested Stars. (The Nested Stars dies just started shipping on Monday.)

sae_july14_dreambig2_teri

And here’s card #2.

sae_july14_helloyou_teri

I cut all the stars with the Nested Stars dies. The sentiment is from Ali’s set.

And here is everyone else who is blog hopping today.

Be sure to leave some love as you go. Someone who comments during the hop will score a $25 e-Gift Card to TechniqueTuesday.com. The winner will be announced on the Technique Tuesday blog on the 15th.

May Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday (5-10)

Hi all!

The 10th means it’s Studio AE Blog Hop time! (Hooray! I always love this day of the month.)

We are featuring the brand new Today Circles by Ali Edwards stamp set, which is the Studio AE set for May.

Technique-Tuesday-Today-Circles-Studio-AE-Clear-Stamps-Medium

I always love a good circle stamp set. And this one is worthy of two thumbs up, if you ask me.

So here’s the scrapbook page I made with it!

2_sae_514_thebestthing_teriI recently attended the annual Editorial Board meeting for Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking magazine. I’m one of their Go-to Gals and Contributing Editors. There are 7 of us, and the meeting allows us a chance to give feedback to the magazine’s editors and help them plan for the next production year. (We usually do some fun stuff, too, like visit some manufacturer’s spots and spend a little time being tourists, but we really are there to meet and do editorial-related stuff.)

Anyway, this page pays tribute to the other Go-to Gals. I have really enjoyed getting to know them in the time we’ve worked together. We are SOOOOO different and yet we share this common bond over paper crafting.  It makes it fun!

2_SAE_514_TheBestthing2_teriI made the title by mixing together a circle stamped with the set’s “best” stamp and some letter stickers. (In case you are wondering, the stickers and patterned papers I used are from Simple Stories’ DIY and DIY Boutique collections.)

2_SAE_514_ThebestThing3_teriI added a kinda fun element at the bottom. I die-cut a paper clip (with TT’s Memo Pad Card DIY Steel Dies) and then stamped a couple words from the set on strips of cardstock. Sorta digging the look.

Well, that is all I have today.

Be sure to check the blogs out of everyone hopping today.

Be sure to comment as you go. We are going to give away one $25 e-Gift Card to TechniqueTuesday.com to someone who comments during the hop. To be eligible to win, all you need to do is comment on any of our blog posts! The lucky winner will be announced on the 15th on the Technique Tuesday blog.

April Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday (4-10)

Hello, hello!

It’s Studio AE Blog Hop time again! So stoked to be hopping yet again with my TT pals.

Today, we are sharing projects made with the new Good Times by Ali Edwards stamp sets.

Technique-Tuesday-SAE-Good-Times-Clear-Stamps-Medium

And here’s what I made.

It’s a simple little pocket page. Usually when I make pocket pages, they take several hours.

But I decided to play it simple with this one and just focus on putting together a quick, simple page.

SAE_414_SoSoFun1_teriI created the top the card by cutting a piece of vellum and then stamping the Great Memory phrase (from the stamp set) with Versamark ink and then heat embossing it with black embossing powder.I dig that looks a bit like I stamped on the picture.

2_sae_414_sosofun2_teri

There are some other stamped elements here too. The Grid cards were die-cut with Technique Tuesday’s Story Card die and then stamped on top with their coordinating Grid stamp. The Today Was words are from Ali’s This Day Was stamp set (also from Technique Tuesday).

By the way, here’s one other thing I recently made with the stamp set.

1_TT_GridCollegeRuledCards

I just love coloring in those words from the stamp set with pencils.

I again used the Grid stamp on one of the base cards. On the other, I used coordinating College Ruled stamp set to stamp the lines.

March Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I’m joining some of my Technique Tuesday buddies today for the March Studio AE Blog Hop. We are featuring Wow by Ali Edwards, this month’s Studio AE stamp set.

Technique-Tuesday-Studio-AE-Wow-Clear-Stamps-Medium

If you aren’t familiar with Studio AE, here’s how it works: Technique Tuesday releases a new stamp set every month as part of their Studio AE program. The sets feature designs by Ali Edwards. These sets are available for a limited time. (They also do general release sets from Ali, too.)

I’ve got three projects to share today that use the stamp set.

Here’s #1.

1_sae_314_proudofyou_teri

I thought it would be fun to build one really big sentiment around one of the set’s phrases so I stamped “proud of you” on patterned paper, cut it out and then added a bunch of “so” words over it.

And this is #2.

1_sae_314_thumbsup_teri

I did kinda the same thing with this card as the last. I just build the sentiment around the “thumbs up” box.

I also stamped the little star border. To keep it similar to the “proud of you” saying, I used a black pen to draw the box around it.

1_sae_314_thumbsup2_teri

And this is #3.

1_sae_314_greatjob_teri

For this one, I thought it would be fun to pair a bunch of the stamp set’s words together so that’s what I did. Everything else is just sorta randomly put together.

1_sae_314_greatjob2_teri

Even though I made these as cards, I think it would be fun to start out with a 4″ x 6″ card and recreate some designs kinda like this for a Project Life – type of album. I  dabble in that world myself and think some of the set’s words would work pretty well for documenting folks doing good.

Ok… so that’s what I have.

February Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday (2-10)

Hooray! It’s Studio AE Blog Hop time again!

Thrilled to be joining a few of my favorite folks today! For today’s hop, we are using the all-new Best Banners by Ali Edwards stamp set.

Technique-Tuesday-Best-Banners-Clear-Stamps-Medium

I’ve got two projects to share.

Here’s No. 1.

2_sae_214_hellolove1_teri_edited-1

This one was pretty simple. I stamped up a couple banners, poked holes in them and then slid a toothpick through each one to make a couple picks for food. Imagine doing something simple like this for Valentine’s Day or Birthday cupcakes. Easy peasy.

Plus, if you didn’t want to go the food route, you could use these little flags on a card or scrapbook page.

2_sae_114_hellolove2_teri_edited-1

And here is No. 2.

2_sae_214_hellohello_teri_edited-1

Speaking of using those flags on a card, I made a couple for this one. 😉

I also added a word from Ali’s So Very Thankful stamp set for Technique Tuesday.

2_sae_214_hellohello2_teri_edited-1

Be sure to check out all the stops on today’s hop.

Technique Tuesday will pick one person from all the comments received on all the blogs to score a $25 e-Gift Card from TechnqueTuesday.com. The lucky winner will be announced on the Technique Tuesday blog on the 15th.

January Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday

Yep! It’s Studio AE Blog Hop time again! I’m so excited to be hopping with the Studio AE crew again. I always look forward to the 10th.

This month’s stamp set (and hop guest of honor, so to speak) is the All My Heart by Ali Edwards stamp set.

Technique-Tuesday-All-My-Heart-Clear-Stamps-Medium

Pretty fun!

I decided to make a card with it for today’s hop. So here you go! 😉

2_TT_OhMyHeart_teri_edited-1

I stamped a bunch of the stamps with red ink on cardstock, cut them out and then just sorta used them as embellishments.

I had a lot of fun just mixing and matching them with other bits and pieces. Outside of the sequins, gems, doily and clip, most everything else (but the stamps) is from Crate Paper.

Season’s Givings Blog Hop (1-1)

SeasonsGivingsimage

Hi all!

Happy New Year!

I’m joining some of my favorite crafty friends out there for the Season’s Givings Blog Hop!

I’ve got a mystery box of crafty goods to give to one of you.

photo(39)

This box was still growing at post writing deadline time (wink!), but here’s a peek of some of the stuff you’ll find inside it! There’s stamps, paper, stickers, embellishments, Project Life stuff, little trinkets and more. Whether you are a card maker or scrapbooker, I think you’ll find something in this box to play with!  🙂

Leave a comment for me by Jan. 4th, and I’ll pick one of you to take home the goods!

By the way, here’s one of my first card for 2014. Well, or I guess it’s technically it’s my last card for 2013 since I’m writing this post on 12/31. 😉

It was made this one with All My Heart by Ali Edwards, the January Studio AE stamp set from Technique Tuesday, and a few other little things.

2_sae_114_iloveu1_teri

Hard to see but I did use my trusty sewing machine to add a little stitch line around the stamped word blocks.

sae_114_iloveu2_teri

So that’s what I’ve got!

Oh… ha! Before I go, here’s a link of everyone hopping today!

December Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday

Hi all!

Another day. Another Studio AE Blog Hop. (Woo-to-the-hoo!)

We are going to town today with the new Great Memory by Ali Edwards stamp set, which starts shipping today!

Technique-Tuesday-Great-Memory-SAE-Clear-Stamps-Medium

I’ve got three projects to share with you today! My initial thought was to make a scrapbook page with the set. But I decided to walk on the wild side and challenged myself to make something card/paper crafter’ish with this set. So here we go.

Meet #1.

2_TT_BestEver_teri

This one also uses a couple phrases from TT’s Howdy stamp set.

Meet #2.

2_TT_YouAre_Teri

I must admit that I am a total mix and matcher so I did pull out a couple more stamp sets to use with this one, too. The “You Are” is from the Incredible by Ali Edwards stamp set, while the “You are a star!” phrase and mini banner is from the Seal Companion – Star stamp set.

And (finally) meet #3.

2_TT_LoveCandyPackages_Teri

These little treat bags really happened because I had stamped a few extra images from the set and thought, “Hey, how would that look on a treat package?”

The little bags are just good old Glassine envelopes stuffed with a couple Tootsie Roll candies. I colored the tags in with markers and then just folded them over the bags. I popped a hole each of them with my Crop-a-dile tool and added a little bit of twine. Talk about easy peasy!

Alright, so there you have it.

Be sure to check out all today’s blog hoppers. (They are an awesome group of gals!)

We are going to give away one $25 gift certificate to someone who comments during the hop so be sure to comment as you go. To be eligible to win, all you need to do is comment on any of our blog posts!  The lucky winner will be announced on the 15th on the Technique Tuesday blog.

Thank you, as always, for stopping by!

November Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday (11/10)

(Hi there! Busy couple days here on the old bloggity blog! Looking for my Moxie Fab Thanks post? Go here. Looking for my Caring Hearts Blog Hop post? Check it out here. Looking for my Dear Santa @ A Blog Named Here post? Go here. Whew.)

Hi all!

Another day. Another hop. Another Studio AE blog, that is!

Joining some of my partners in crime (… no… wait….) Technique Tuesday buddies in sharing some projects made with the new Relative Banners by Ali Edwards stamp set, which is the Studio AE set for November. If you are new to Studio AE, a new Studio AE stamp set is released every month. The Studio AE stamps feature Ali’s designs and are available for a limited time only (usually about a month).

I’ve got three projects to share with you that I made with this month’s Relative Banners set. Each of these projects also use Technique Tuesday’s Banners steel dies.

sae_1113_diestampstogetherThe stamps in this set work swell with these dies. (Also, if you are a fan, you might want to check some of Ali’s other sets that work with the Banners steel die set: Family Banners; Today Banners; Giving Thanks Banners, Banner Months and Hello Santa Banners.)

Alright. Let’s get on with the good stuff: the projects. 😉

First up is this little name card for a table setting!

2_sae_1113_grandmanamecardI think this Studio AE stamp set would be kinda fun to use to make a whole lot of name cards to place on a dinner table for a family get-together.

The base of the name card is a rectangle I cut with TT’s Story Card steel die. (By the way, I found the metal stand at the local party supply house in the table décor aisle.)

I also made a couple cards.

This one…

2_sae_1113_daughtercard_teri… and this one.

2_sae_1113_sonthankyou_teriIn addition to the Studio AE set and the Banners die, I used some words fro Ali’s Mama = Love stamp set. Nice to mix and match things together.

Well, that’s all I have for you today.

Be sure to the check out the blogs of everyone taking part in today’s hop:

And be sure to comment as you go as we are going to give away one $25 gift certificate to someone who comments during the hop. To be eligible to win, all you need to do is comment on any of our blog posts!  The lucky winner announced on the 15th on the Technique Tuesday blog.

Thanks for stopping by again!
