Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hey kids,

Squeezing in one last card for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

Had this little coffee image from Art Impressions sitting on my desk since last week. It was all colored up and good to go so I ran with it and slapped together this little card.

The lady kinda of reminds me of some of the sweet ladies my mom and grandma used to bowl with it for years and years.  🙂 Some of the nicest ladies around.

The sentiment is from a Technique Tuesday set I designed called Sassy Coffee.

It was tough picking which phrase to use. I do like cards with a sassy feel.

Alrighty! Short and sweet this post shall be! Thanks, as always, guys, for stopping by! I appreciate the visits and your kindness!

Hi guys!

Me again! Shocked? Been on a bit of a card roll and couldn’t resist sharing one more quick card made in honor of the Coffee Lovers Bloghop.

Drum roll, please. Here we go.

Boom! Wink!

It was quick to make this one. Had the stamps so… just wanted to play.

The cup and assorted cup-like things are all from Lawn Fawn’s Pumpkin Spice set. Yes, so, so cute… and a must for a Pumpkin Spice Latte lover, although it could totally pass off for cocoa. Don’t you agree?

The words from the Perk Up set from Technique Tuesday.

Always fun to pair two sets together that are different styles but have the same theme going on. Mixing and matching really does make me happy.

Used my trusty white Nuvo Crystal Dots to add some subtle dots with the shaking scene that’s going on. Super simple but a fun way to add a little kick to a card.

Anyhoooo, that’s what I got. Be sure to swing by the hop. So many great cards! Bravo to all the participants!

Hi guys !

Back on the old blog-a-roo with another card to share! Couldn’t resist making something in honor of the Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop.

So meet today’s card.

Cha-cha! 😉

Just had fun here, letting the frame cutting die-cut lead me on where to place the stamped images.

The cups, beans, heart, steam and words are all from the Perk Up stamp set, which (in full disclosure here) I designed for Technique Tuesday.

I did all the coloring on the card with markers. I was trying to be all cool and stuff so I added a little shadow at the bottom of each cup with a darker marker and then blended in the color with the lighter marker. The shadow on the cups is subtle but I think it looks kinda cool.

I did the same thing with the coffee beans too. 🙂

I wish I had more to say to you, but it’s the end of the weekend. I’m tired. The writing tank is dry so that’s what I got. I’ll try to give you a wordier post next time.

But be sure to swing by the Bloghop to see lots of other cool coffee-themed projects. Always so fun to see what everyone comes up with!

See you again soon, friends. Thanks, as always, for stopping by!

Technique Tuesday News + Planner Stamp Set Giveaway

Hi everybody!

Just wanted to share wanted to share with you some Technique Tuesday news. Technique Tuesday just released some new stamp sets I designed with planners (and planner addicts, planner girls, planner fans… you know… the whole shebang) in mind.

This is Planner – Essentials.

This is Planner – Important.

This is Planner – Foodie.

This is Planner – Priority.

These stamp sets are small so you can easily slip them in a bag with your planner. Plus, they are inexpensive, just $5.99.

Just so you can see them in action, here’s a quick  (No FRILLS!!! I put a bad filter on it… sorry!… and did no fancy editing) video for you. Plus, you can hear how dorky I sound in real life. 😉 (Be afraid.)

By the way, I want to share  a backstory about these stamp sets. About a year ago, I designed a planner stamp set for Technique Tuesday. Planner stuff was really emerging. (In fact, I even talked about the emerging Planner Trend on Moxie Fab World back in October.)

The stamp set didn’t end up getting produced, but it definitely served as the base for these stamp sets. It was kind of a bummer, but when I first stamped these stamps, I am so glad TT waited…. and I rethought and re-engineered that first set. I feel like these are so, so much more fun that the first stamp set I designed.

Anyway, I hope you like them too. I think if you aren’t a planner, these stamps might work for you too, especially if you are a scrapbooker or lister.

So I’ve got some blog candy, courtesy of Technique Tuesday! Leave a comment on this post by midnight PST on Wednesday, July 22nd. I’ll pick one of you to score a Planner – Essentials stamp set. I’ll announce the lucky winner on 25th.

Thanks for stopping by, guys! Hope to see you again soon.
