A stamped card by Teri || terisplace.wordpress.com

Created this little guy with Prickly Plants stamp set from the For the Love of Stamps collection by Hunkydory.

If you haven’t had a chance to check out the For the Love of Stamps line, I totally encourage you to check it out. Lots of different designs. All clear (top quality clear stamps) and a great price.

The Prickly Plants set stole my heart. Cacti are so fun… and trendy right now…. when it comes to cards.

To make the card,  I stamped the cactus plants on watercolor paper with Staz-on ink. Then I went to town with watercolors. I dropped some salt onto the paint while it was drying to add a little extra texture. I also whipped out a really old bottle of Liquid Applique and added the dots to the one vase and warmed them up with my heat gun.

When everything was dry, I added the sentiment, a die-cut heart (with glitter glue on it), part of a doily and patterned paper strips and plopped the panel onto a card. I think it turned out pretty fun.

Now, be sure to check out all these blogs and comment for your chance to win the grand prize!!

Thanks again for stopping by, friends.

I’m sharing two projects today with you!

The first project uses the Duke’s Gang stamp set from IndigoBlu.

I mean, hello, dogs! You can’t go wrong with dogs!

I masked the two dog images together by stamping one dog and then stamping him a second time on a sticky note. I cut him out, placed him on the first image and then stamped the little dog on top. The result? Something that looks like the two dogs are next to each other. Easy peasy!

The second card uses the Tall Wildflowers stamp from Crafty Individuals.

I  was feeling kinda of artsy when I made this one. I sponged dye inks onto cardstock and then flicked water droplets on top. I let the ink dry and then stamps the flowers with black ink right on top.

An easy technique, but it is such a fun technique to do! You get a different look every single time. I love that!

Alright! That’s what I have. Now, be sure to check out all these blogs and comment for your chance to win the grand prize!!
